We hope we can help you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday in north Yorkshire in one of our beautifully decorated rooms or in one of our holiday cottages. All our accommodation is ideally situated for those holidaymakers wanting a base in the centre of Whitby. The beach, shops and restaurants are no more than 5 minutes walk away. The north Yorkshire moors national park is on the doorstep and has lots to offer the visitor at any time of the year. We are surrounded by picturesque costal and country villages all within easy walking or driving distance. Most of our rooms are large enough for a cot or a put up bed for children. Sanders yard restaurant is open throughout the day for morning coffee, lunches, afternoon tea and no visit would be complete without a browse through our famous cake counter where you can sample a huge slice of delicious homemade cake. Sanders Yard Restaurant Our restaurant is open throughout the day for coffee, lunches, cakes and afternoon tea. Choose from something as simple as a bowl of delicious homemade soup to a 3 course meal sampling the best of Whitbys seafood, local meat dishes and the finest vegetarian delights. We have a huge toy box to help keep your little ones entertained while you enjoy your lunch and are happy to help with bottle warming nappy changing or cuddles. Sanders Yard Rooms In addition to our holiday cottages we also have a variety of beautifully decorated rooms over looking our award winning courtyard. Choose from the traditional beamed rooms or for the romantics how about our new luxurious sleigh bed? All our rooms have colour tv dvd player with a selection of films hospitality tray and en-suite facilities the price includes a full English breakfast served in the restaurant babies and children are very welcome and a baby sitting service is available on request. Dove Cottage sleeps 4 adults and 2 children. This spacious cottage offers comfortable accommodation over three floors. It is attractively decorated and feels more like home than a usual holiday let. Benefiting from a combination of traditional features and modern facilities, Dove Cottage is to be found opposite the restaurant in Sanders Yard and is at street level, making it easily accessible. The accommodation consists of a kitchen/dining room and lounge on the ground floor. Double bedroom and bathroom on the 1st floor with a double bedroom and small bedroom (with bunk beds, suitable for children) on the 2nd floor. There is sky plus and a playstation.Well behaved pets are welcome and breakfast can be ordered from the restaurants

The Old Dispensary (suitable for 2 adults but can sleep 4) This cosy cottage is nearly 400 years old and includes many traditional features including, beamed ceilings, sash windows and a Yorkshire Range. The ground floor consists of a kitchen/dining room with leather sofa and quarry tiled floor. On the 1st floor there is a substantial double sofa bed and a single shower room with toilet, whilst the 2nd floor is a double bedroom featuring unique circular windows. This wonderfully atmospheric cottage is ideal for a quiet holiday break for two.

For longer term parking you will need to avail yourself of one of the many Pay and Display car parks in the area. On-street parking is available further along Church Street, however spaces are normally in very short supply, especially in the Summer months.
