No need to look any further for a place to stay in Lewes, there could be no where better. We have traveled all over the world and this is the best BB we've ever stayed in. From having our coffee delivered to our door in the morning so we could drink it on our private balcony and read the paper to fresh lemonade and iced tea with goodies in the afternoon, and then chocolates on our pillow when we returned in the evening. The beds have six pillows to choose from and the beds were so comfortable. The dcor looks like it came out of a magazine but is fun, island and casual not stuffy. We never needed lunch with the breakfasts being so good and filling. What a vacation should be, relaxing pampering at a beautiful spot if you can't get to the islands this is the next best thing. Without a doubt this is my new Favorite Place in Lewes. I have been coming here for years but have never been more comfortable or at home. I know where I will be staying during many return visits in the future. Thank you for a fantastic birthday. Fabulous!! You welcomed us all into your inn as part of the family. The event for my mother was something she will not forget. You can count on us to be loyal customers for years to come! What a pleasant surprise it was when we pulled into the parking lot. Our apprehensions disappeared! What a disappointment to leave when you have made us feel so welcomed. Why stay anywhere else when you have the Blue Water House! Thanks for everything you have done to make it so special, (coffee and newspapers delivered in the morning to turn down service at night) you made my 40 th birthday memorable. My family and I had a wonderful time! This BB shows what a vacation should be about, having fun. I know my parents are going to make this trip a yearly thing and I think that would be awesome!!! A wonderful cozy spot for a vacation, happy colors, lots of amenities, coffee on your own private terrace. The dcor has such a unique artistic flare but maintains that homey, comfortable feeling. Your rooms are lovely and comfy and your breakfasts have spoiled us. What a delightful experience. We constantly marveled at the delightful details of this whimsical place. We felt like welcomed guests from our first call to our last goodbye. Every detail designed with our comfort in mind. The Blue Water House is just the place to relax, smile and slow down the pace. This has been the best BB we have stayed in. The food was terrific, and we loved the little touches that made us feel comfortable, relaxed and welcomed.

The best thing about Lewes is the beach. From the Delaware Bay down to the Lewes Beach around Cape Henlopen past Rehoboth and Dewey and ending on the white sands of Bethany and Fenwick, Delaware boasts some of the most beautiful and diverse beaches on the East Coast. Lewes, protected by Cape Henlopen, offers gentle waves for a relaxing family time. Cape Henlopen with its pristine dunes is great for nature walks and is great for fishermen. Rehoboth has an old fashioned wooden boardwalk, perfect for a family outing. Dewey is for the more adventurous and home to a boogie board competition. The beaches around the Indian River Inlet offers great surfing, but be sure to check the wave reports. So whether you want solitude or exciting nightlife, Delaware's beaches has a little something for everyone.
