Brides-to-Be Take Trip Down the Isle On February 8, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Anna Maria Island Wedding Merchants will host their first island-wide, strolling wedding festival. Unlike any other wedding show, the inaugural Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival will include vendors positioned at 14 different locations (Harrington House is one of the hosting locations) around the Island. Start the day by registering at the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce, where you will receive a specialty gift bag, along with a map and merchant-specific information. From there you can enjoy free transportation courtesy of the Manatee Trolley or limousine service to any of the Festival sites. Experiences will include first-hand tours of various honeymoon suites, wedding and reception venues, tastings with caterers and bakeries, and face time with photographers and musicians. Two New York-style fashion shows entertain throughout the day from the Aveda Spa featuring the latest in wedding attire. And the Sandbar Restaurant's sunset celebration tops off the event with everyone welcome to enjoy a champagne toast, wedding cake and grand prize drawing for a wedding package.
