However, as there are no lockout hours at Thor Town, you are welcome to use the common areas of the hostel if you arrive earlier in the day. Bike rentals: We have good quality TREK Mountain
Bikes for rent for $8.00 per day or $4.00 for a half day. There are several
quiet country roads as well as the Olympic Discovery Trail accessible just outside Port Angeles. Additionally, we encourage you to use our
bikes in combination with the public buses of Clallam transit to venture further a field. Suggested routes are included in our link. For runs to the supermarket or downtown
shops, Thor Town has a one speed cruiser available for free use.

trip into Seattle. Get off the bus at the Pioneer Square tunnel station. From the bus stop, walk 5 blocks west to the waterfront, then two blocks north to the Washington State Ferry terminal at Pier 52. A McDonalds sign located at the ferry terminal is a conspicuous landmark at the pier. To continue on to Port Angeles, board the Bainbridge Island ferry and follow the directions. Room Rates (Linens and towels provided). $13.60 per person - shared. $30.00 per couple -
private room. $6.00 - Children under 14. Reservations can be made via email at or by
phone at (360) 452-0931. Following confirmation of availability of the dates requested, we will need either credit card billing information or prepayment to hold all reservations. Cancellations will be accepted without charge as long as you contact us at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled reservation date.
If arriving by car from the east: Enter Port Angeles on US Highway 101. Continue for 2 stoplights (approximately 3/4 miles) past the McDonalds to Race Street. Turn right, and drive 1 1/2 blocks to 316 North Race Street. If arriving by car from the west: Enter Port Angeles on US Highway 101. After 101 makes a right turn from Lincoln onto First Street, continue 7 blocks to the stoplight on Race Street. Turn left and drive 2 1/2 blocks to 316 North Race Street. If arriving on the Victoria Ferry or the Clallam Transit Bus and walking to the hostel: Walk 1 block South (away from the water) to Front Street. Turn left and walk 8 blocks to Race Street. Turn left and continue 1 1/2 blocks to 316 North Race Street. Come in and make yourself comfortable!
