ADVENTURE OR RELAXATION The legendary Nootka Sound, British Columbia - a remote, protected haven on a dramatic unspoiled coast - is where Captain Cook first explored in 1778 and found his snug harbor. Wildlife abounds here and includes bears, whales, eagles, the diminutive sea otters and much more! An eco
tour through Nootka Sound will leave you speechless - there is an endless variety of wilderness, wildlife and history to experience. Be sure to inquire about our adventure and retreat packages. There truly IS something for everyone at Nootka Wilderness Fishing Lodge, British Columbia, Canada!
Photo Gallery - 2003. I completely enjoyed fishing with your excellent guides. Pat was helpful in every way and more important, I caught a lot of bright fish. Pat found the honey holes everyday and I released many more than I put in the fish hold. All in all it was a beautiful setting and accommodations at your floating lodge are outstanding. I have fished with many different outfitters and yours ranks as one of the best. I was really impressed by the quality and variety of food. Your
kitchen staff is excellent Al Scow Rancho Palos Vds., California. Wow! Slater and I had a blast, visiting your lodge and filling our boats with salmon! Thanks for your hospitality. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Michael D. Chesser Camarillo, California. Huge schools of Coho salmon could be located throughout the vast kelp beds that line the shores at the entrance to Nootka Sound, and the Chinooks were there in big numbers too! The
beauty of this fishing is that the fish swim shallow, with the Chinooks traveling from 15 to 40 feet in depth with light tackle surface fishing being the method of choice for Coho. I just wanted to say thanks for the fabulous fishing and hospitality I enjoyed on my recent
trip to Nootka Wilderness Lodge. I caught over 30 Chinook and Coho salmon during my stay - this was easily the best fishing experience of my life!! Everything at the lodge was perfect - the guides were friendly and knew all the best techniques for salmon. Dan Schwarz Montclair, New Jersey. Dave and Irene, OJ and I would like to thank you for a great fishing
trip. Everything was wonderful, the fishing, the food, the scenery and the companionship. We really had a great time. I would also like you to know that we got home with the fish still frozen, so our freezer is full of salmon. I am going to cook some tonight. I know it will taste out of this world. Again, thanks for a great time. Elizabeth and OJ Riddles Pearland, Texas. It is nearly impossible to pick highlights from our 2003 fishing season, as it was simply adventure after adventure, story after story, from the beginning of our season till the end. Not a single group of anglers - not one! - experienced slow fishing during our 2003 season, so we thought the best way to remember 2003 would be to let our guests - and their photos - do the talking! There is no reason to believe that the 2004 fishing season won't be at least as good as 2002 and 2003, so let us know soon if you haven't yet booked your
trip to Nootka Wilderness Lodge. Thank you so much for once again providing an amazing fishing experience. We are already looking forward to next time! Enjoy the photos and thank you again! Jim Tagliere Los Angeles, California. I don't know what I was expecting when I reserved the fishing, but I knew with you and Dave I would have fun. I just wanted to tell you your camp is above anything we have ever done in fishing. What a wonderful camp you run. Thank you for all the memories and am looking forward to next year. Thanks again. Ryan and Mat Hoerauf Odessa, Texas. None of these comments were solicited from our guests They are sincere thank you notes from our American and Canadian friends! Click here for more testimonials...
