Please to visit our online guestbook, to view other messages or to post your own message for us and our future guests to view. Don't stay at Burneside, stay here! A lift was given to us from Burnesde. Very warm, friendly, relaxed family home, with a superb
breakfast.. With a lift from the dales way to kendal that was much appreciated and train times back to Burneside the next morning which were very helpful. The place was nnice and the
breakfast even better with homemade bread and jams. Evening meal delicious in a place in town recommended by Sheila makes a change from the
quiet country villages. Very experienced walkers with lots of advice and tips to offer.. In a word - fantastic. If you are staying in Kendal then stay here.. An excellent stay that would be cheap at twice the price, the
breakfast was sumptious with home made bread. The large
bath was agodsend after a hard days walking. Thanks.. Sheila and Alan are brilliant, both very experienced walkers so they know what to offer. The place is first class in respect of service, accomodation and food, and Alans shuttle service to Burneside is a bonus. Thanks again. Bill Weatherill My wife and I stayed with Mr and Mrs Brindley in '99 whilst doing the dalesway and we were very pleased when Mr Brindley came through to a
phone box just outside Burneside to pick us up, and took us back the following morning to the exact same spot to resume our walk. The accomodation was very good, infact it was as good as other places I have stayed at in the past costing twice as much. Thanks again.
