We offer the Tack Room and the Turf Room. Each room has a private deck, private entrance, ensuite bathroom, fireplace, cable television with VCR and coffee maker. Beds are comfy (feather beds with duvets) and carefully placed so you can look through the dormer windows to see the stars. The decor is clean, modern country. The hot tub is on a sheltered patio that overlooks the field. Breakfast, fruhstuck, or petit dejeuner* can be served in the dining room, main patio, or on your private deck (or anywhere else you care to venture). (We're told our beds are comfortable). *yes, wir sprechen ein bisschen Deutsch and une peu Francais but nicht gut or bonne!!!

THE RED PHEASANT COUNTRY INN B B. We have over 6 acres of land for you to enjoy. The buildings and riding ring are at the front, leaving the back of our property undisturbed. The front provides a panoramic view of Mt. Benson. You may want to sit with your morning coffee and watch horses being schooled. Your private patio overlooks the fields and forest. This is where you will see deer, eagles, pheasants (what else?) and even the occasional bear. A few horses graze in this area, too. If you stroll towards the duck pond you will find Custard and his friends splashing around. (Custard, far right). If you want a nature walk, wander a bit further back down to the River. This is a nature area full of west coast flora fauna. It is considered so important that the Ministry of Environment funded the Millstone Greenway Pilot Project. This area is considered a conservation corridor.

Duncan is an innkeeper, hobby farmer and amateur wine-maker. Gayle is an urban- planner by day. In her spare time shes a dressage rider. In fact, if shes not riding, shes usually teaching someone else how to ride. Duncan rides too! together, they like to travel, entertain and just generally enjoy life!
