Maple Bank is situated in the small village of Braithwaite, just a few minutes drive from the market town of Keswick and midway between the lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite. The local village general store has everything you could need on a day to day basis, and there is good choice for eating out. Keswick and the surrounding areas have all the amenities you could ask for - plentiful shops for browsing, many places to eat and drink and activities to keep you entertained during your stay in the Lake District.
