The present Sabaa hotel was built in 1894 by by Highlander farmer Jan Gsienica - Staszeczek and called of his name - the Staszeczkowka. About 100 years ago this Hotel started took first quests. In this years ti was third Hotel in the town, and the oldest functioning hotel in Zakopane. Many famous people - politics and art from all world stayed here, for exemple i poets : Kazimierz Przerwa - Tetmajera, actress Helena Modrzejewska, Witkacy and the popular Highlander musican story - teller Sabaa, which name begen the names of Hotel. Foto from 1897 year. Hotel and Restaurant Staszeczkowka Krupowki 15. Wording from a first illustrated Galica's guide for commarce and industry from 1911 years. The Hotel was used as a student hotel following the war, and the original propprietors regained their property only in the '70s, when they began gradually returninig the residence to its former splendour. In 1996 it was corefully restored with special attention to its orginal interiors.
