A building with a mixed history dating from a First World War Convalescent Home - now converted to the superbly comfortable and informal Park Lodge Hotel. Built in the International or Bauhaus style with later Macintosh embellishments found in its balustrade ironwork detail, the external appearance of the Hotel borrows the colourful picturesque harbour front theme and is painted in a vernacular Art Noveau yellow. After extensive renovation and up-grading, Park Lodge Hotel now offers modern comfortable accommodation with a large lounge and dining room, along with all bedrooms being en-suite. Park Lodge Hotel has a large floodlit flat private car park with over lit walkways leading from the car-park, through the terraced approach path, to the front entrance doors. Most bedrooms face south and overlook the alpine and azalea planted terrace and extensive lawns. To view rooms, click here. To view area map, click here. Our location is approximately 75 metres from the sea and overlooks the picturesque village of Tobermory tumbling down to the water's edge. The views from the bedrooms are over the gardens and lawns, Tobermory Bay and the Sound of Mull beyond. We are surrounded by hills and woods with lochs stocked with rainbow and brown trout available for fishing locally. Deer, seals, whales and wild life abound for all to enjoy. A short walk places the amenities of the harbour village within reach and restaurants and bars are often the venue for musicians playing the fiddle or accordion. To explore the area in a more relaxed manner, we offer free use of our mountain bikes and fishing rods for guests staying two nights or more. For visiting guest 'yachties' we have our own large yellow mooring which may be used freely by hotel guests for the duration of stay. Standard rooms en-suite are at £31.00 pppn based on two sharing, including full Scottish breakfast. Superior rooms en-suite are at £41.00 pppn, based on two sharing including full Scottish breakfast.
