We are a private family run Guest House with seven bedrooms, all of high standard. Five are fully en-suite, two have their own shower and wash-hand basin. All have central heating, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. We have two en-suite rooms on the ground floor. We have an elegant dining room, where you will be served your Breakfast by the owners Charles and Joanne. Afterwards you can relax in our residents lounge (with colour television) and plan your stay with the help of our large selection of tourist information and local maps. It is our pleasure to make your stay with us a very enjoyable one.

To start your day off well a full English or Continental Breakfast is served in our breakfast room. We will gladly prepare you a packed lunch should you decide to spend the day exploring the area. After your day out, come back and enjoy sandwiches freshly prepared to order, and Danish pastries along with tea and coffee or an alcoholic beverage from our well stocked bar. We have a selection of beers, wines and spirits, which we will be pleased to serve to you in our residents lounge located on the first floor. Sandwiches and pastries served between 6.00pm and 7.00pm.

Sitting as it does on the Cartmel Peninsula, Grange-Over-Sands commands excellent views across Morecambe Bay. Take a peaceful walk along the promenade to the shops or stroll around the impressive ornamental gardens. In Grange-Over-Sands you can escape the hectic pace of today's busy lifestyle, and relax in this tranquil Victorian resort. For the more energetic Grange-Over-Sands can offer a number of sporting activities, including tennis, golf, swimming or bowls. Welcome to Elton Guest House Grange-Over-Sands, Cumbria. The Elton Guest House is a Victorian, limestone building, dating from around 1840, in one of the prettiest parts, of Grange-Over-Sands, and is only minutes walk on level ground to the shops, the ornamental gardens, promenade and the railway station. From the M6 motorway, exit at junction 36 following the signs to Barrow-in-Furness on the A590. travel along this road until you see the signs for Grange-over-Sands. You will come to a roundabout, take the B5277 signposted Grange. Follow the signs into Grange passing through the village of Lindale. Go past the railway station which is on your left, turn right at the mini roundabout into Windermere Road and we are 50 yards along on the left. For directions please use Route Planner
