Breakfast Hotel in West Lothian. Cruachan Bed
Breakfast is a West Lothian bed and
breakfast with a difference, offering many of the home comforts, attention to detail and levels of personal service to guests that they would normally expect to find in some of the more expensive hotels in West Lothian. Established in 1996 by Kenneth and Jacqueline Harkins, Cruachan bed and
breakfast is rated 3 stars by VisitScotland.com and 3 stars by the AA. The AA has upgraded this award in 2006 and 2007 to 3 Red Diamonds one of the highest ratings available within the AA guest accommodation scheme. Cruachan is one of the few bed and
breakfast/guest house establishments in West Lothian to achieve this rating. Since opening, the
business has steadily grown with countless guests seeking bed and
breakfast or hotel accommodation in West Lothian finding complete satisfaction at Cruachan. Not only has the
business grown but so has the family, with young Andrew and Jane often providing a welcoming committee to our guests!
Double room per night from£58.00 Single occupancy per night from£38.00 Prices quoted for double or twin occupancies are for the
room and
breakfast, not per person and may be subject to change due to seasonal demand or duration of your stay at Cruachan bed and
breakfast. Method of payment We are happy to accept cash, cheques, travellers cheques,credit/debit cards. Cash: We accept any currency in cash but please note that we have to allow for conversion costs for foreign currencies when calculating your bill. This inevitably increases the final amount payable so it is to your advantage that payment is made in GBP Sterling where possible. Cheques and Travellers' cheques: Personal cheques should be supported by a valid cheque guarantee card. We are able to cash Sterling travellers' cheques without incurring any comission charges, however, although we are happy to accept foreign currency travellers' cheques we do get charged when we present them to our
bank so, as with foreign currency this charge has to be added to your final bill. No surcharge is made when you pay by credi/debit card. Most West Lothian hotels and many of the bed and
breakfasts in West Lothian now offer
wi-fi access to guests travelling with laptop
computers and Cruachan is no exception. This service is provided free of charge to anyone who wishes to use it. Cancellation policy: Like any other West Lothian hotel or bed and
breakfast Cruachan has a policy for dealing with cancelled reservations. We very rarely implement this policy but it is important that you read the following: If a cancellation is made within 48 hours of your expected arrival time we reserve the right to either retain any deposit paid by cheque or to debit your credit/debit card of an amount no more than the price quoted for one nights' bed and
breakfast. We should make clear that in 10 years trading we can not recall having retained any deposits due to customers cancelling. We are very understanding! However,we are sure that you will understand that if we are financially disadvantaged due to a late cancellation then we may implement the above policy. Cruachan Bed and
