Breakfast such as ours is clearly affected by cancellations and we ask for your understanding and consideration of our policy: If a Guest requires to cancel a reservation for any reason they must notify the proprietors by
telephone and confirm it in writing. The proprietors will then attempt to re-book the
room but if unsuccessful the Guest will not be entitled to a refund of any deposit paid and the following will apply: cancellations 6 days prior to before accommodation date - no additional charge will be made for the booking of the reserved period. However please note that we cannot return your deposit. cancellations 5 days or less before arrival - the Guest will be responsible for the full cost of the booking for the reserved period unless the proprietors find a substitute Guest, in which case a refund, less expenses and deposit, will be returned for the period booked. Earlier than scheduled departures are handled as a cancellation and the same policies apply. Check-in: Check-in time is between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Please understand that we are preparing for your arrival, and cannot welcome you prior to 4:00 pm. If check in cannot be made between 4pm and 7pm guests are urged to
telephone and let us know. With prior notice we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, (but please note that on the day of arrival only) out of courtesy to other guests, no one will be admitted after 11pm. Smoking: Arden Country House is a
non-smoking facility and we do adhere strictly to our policy. The Surcharge for smoking within the house is £250.00. Children: We regret that Arden Country House is not suitable for Children under 12 years old. Pets: Please note that because Arden Country House is surrounded by 105 acres of farmland for grazing sheep, we are unable to accept dogs. Guide Dogs and dogs for the Hearing Impaired only are welcome. Breakages: The Guest will be responsible for the repair or replacement of any breakages, loss or damage and shall leave the
room in a clean, neat and tidy condition. No responsibility is accepted by the proprietors or any person living or working at Arden Country House or Belsyde Farm for any loss, damage or injury to person or property (including cars, accessories or contents) whilst within the confines of Belsyde Farm or whilst the Guest or any member of his or her
party is engaged in any activity, or any illness arising from any cause whatsoever.
