Abacus consists of all very well appointed rooms. A mix of triple, twin, double or single rooms can satisfy all of your requirements. All rooms have been refurbished in 2005. Family rooms contain baby crib. All our rooms have en suite facilities with power showers and complimentry toiletries. Standard facilities in all rooms include: direct dial telephone refreshment facilities. Breakfast is served in our bright and spacious dining room. A multi choice freshly cooked breakfast including a selection of juices, cereals and fruit is provided at a time of your choice. Early morning workers catered for. Late breakfast served on Sunday. Abacus Guest Accommodation is superbly located on the approach road from Dublin, Cork and Shannon. Travelling from the north or north west we are just off the main Sligo to Galway road (N17). Ideally situated for business or pleasure, we are five minutes from Galway city on a well serviced bus and taxi route. Connemara is at your doorstep here at Abacus. A half hour drive takes you to the rustic lake dotted landscape that is Connemara. The Inagh Valley, Leenane, Killary fjord, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and the fishing village of Roundstone are just some of the many sights to see before you reach Clifden, the capital of Connemara. There you can travel the 7 mile journey on the Sea Road 500 feet above sea level as you savour the majestic views of the Alantic ocean. We are located just off the Dublin / Galway road (R338). From Dublin, Cork Shannon, take the road for Galway at the Quality hotel in Oranmore. Continue to the Martyn roundabout (No 12), take 1st exit left on the road for Galway east. Go through the Skerritt roundabout (No 14), take 2nd exit. Continue past Flannerys hotel take the first right. ABACUS is 50 yards on your left. We are between Days Flannerys hotels. From the north / north west take the N17 for Galway. At the Font roundabout (No 8) take the 2nd exit. Pass Musgraves Cash Carry on right take the first left, at the Trappers Inn. Continue straight at the next junction. Pass church on your left.
