Dinner (Mon - Sun) : 7.00pm onwards. Situated on the ground floor. Most
breakfast requirements can be catered for; continental style or full cooked Scottish
breakfast.
Dinner is a delicious four course meal with well presented home cooked food. Wine can be brought in by guests. All diets catered for, if possible please advise us beforehand.

breakfast accommodation on Scotlands Banffshire Coast. Located in Fordyce and dating from the early Victorian period, the property was originally constructed as a school and school house. Following the closure of the senior school in 1963 the house was purchased and refurbished in 1977 by the present owners, Sandra and Richard Leith. By combining traditional comfort with modern day luxury, Academy House has maintained its award of 5 stars since 2003. Academy House - Fordyce. On May 10th 1999, Fordyce celebrated its 500th anniversary and is one of the finest, small rural villages in Scotland. It is a conservation area packed with historic and architecturally important buildings, radiating from the 16th century Fordyce Castle which was restored in 1999. Fordyce Castle built by Thomas Menzies circa 1600. Fordyce is situated approximately 1.5 miles off the A98, midway between Cullen and Portsoy. £33 - £35 per person. From £38 -£40 per person. No charge for children under 3 years. Children aged 4 - 12 years pay 1/2 price if sharing with 2 adults. The
twin room can convert to a
family room using a folding bed for child. Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. (Preceded by a glass of complimentary sherry). Guests are invited to bring their own bottles of wine to enjoy with
