Room E (double size bed) with it's massive 16th Century French canopy bed and 14 ft. ceiling is a favourite with Anniversary and Honeymoon couples.

bathroom is rather unique for its original 1870's wooden skylight making the

The Hotel Register, going back to 1932, is kept in the Parlour for your perusal. he rather grand, very Victorian, Front Hall, which is reached via a well preserved Stratford Porch, sets the tone for the Stone Maiden Inn. Intricately crafted original plaster moldings adorn the high ceilings of the Front Hall,
Dining Room and Parlour. Elegant furnishings and appointments add to the late 19th century ambience. Information on local events,
restaurants, etc., are also available in this area. Finally, the main staircase ascends regally to the second floor guest quarters. ur elegant Guest Parlour offers a delightful haven for reading, board

From Detroit, follow Highway 401 east to exit 222, exit and turn left (north) for about 25 miles to Hwy 7 just outside Stratford. Turn right on Hwy 7 (Erie Street) to the third stoplight (St. Patrick Street). Turn left on St. Patrick 1 block to Church Street, left again and we are just 1 block on left beside the railway track. From Port Huron/Sarnia, Cross into Canada at the Blue Water Bridge and follow Hwy 402 to Interchange 65 at Strathroy. Follow Hwy 81 North For 3 Km (2 Miles) to County Road 19. Head North to Alisa Craig then follow Hwy 7 East into Stratford. At Stratford, Hwy 7 becomes Erie Street.. Follow Erie Street through town until you reach St. Patrick. Turn left on St. Patrick 1 block to Church Street, left again and we are just 1 block on left beside the railway track. From Toronto, follow Highway 401 west to Exit 278 (Hwy 8) to
Kitchener. Follow Hwy 7/8 into Stratford. In Stratford Hwy 7/8 becomes Ontario Street. Stay on Ontario Street through the downtown area to the big Court House and then turn left onto Church Street. We are at 123 Church St, two blocks on your left--the huge yellow brick house. From Buffalo, cross at Peace Bridge or Lewiston Bridge to QEW Highway west to Highway 6 North. After Highway 6 turns into a two lane road you will Join Hwy 401. Take Hwy 401 west to exit 278 (Hwy 8) to
Kitchener. Follow Hwy 7/ 8 into Stratford. In Stratford Hwy 7/ 8 becomes Ontario Street. Stay on Ontario Street through the downtown area to the big Court House and then turn left onto Church Street.
