Jacky (original French) came to Greenland in 1976 with his friends on a sailing boat. They were supposed to stay for a year in Greenland, but he stayed a bit longer, and has been living here since! In 1996, he moved to south Greenland, where he made a living of sailing tourist with his charming boat Puttut. In 2002, Jacky began a close collaboration with Topas, and Blue Ice has grown to a company with several employees during the summer season. Our speciality is custom-made package trips, for individuals as well as for groups, from one to several days. We have our base in Narsarsuaq (the gateway to South Greenland). We have five passenger-boats for tours and transfers. We run the youth hostel in Narsarsuaq and Igaliku, and we have established Blue Ice Camp - a base camp at the mouth of the Qooroq Ice Fjord.
