What is included in the business pack? The Business pack is our full-service option. Omenas business pack is our full-service option, which has been tailor-made especially for our business customers, but is an attractive option for all hotel guests, who want efficiency and relaxation during their stay. The following services are included in the business pack: - High-speed Internet access through both the in-room TV and your laptop computer (a wireless keyboard and a network cable are at your disposal in the room). - Movie entertainment: Two movies (video on demand) of your choice per day (box office movies, action, comedy, drama, childrens movies, and adult entertainment). - Breakfast for one person at our partners cafe nearby the hotel. You can book breakfast for additional travellers when booking the room. Please note that there is not breakfast available in all hotels during weekends and holidays. On these occasions, the package will automatically be changed to an Digi pack. The business pack costs EUR 16/room/day. The services included in the package pack can be ordered at any time from the hotel room using the in-room TV (payment by credit card), but at significantly higher rates: The video on demad movies cost EUR 4/movie/night, and the Internet-connection EUR 9/night. What is included in the Digi pack? The Digi pack is available only in hotels, where we cant offer our guests breakfast services. The Digi pack has been tailor-made especially for our business customers, but is an attractive option for all hotel guests who want efficiency and relaxation during their stay. The services included in the package can be ordered at any time from the hotel room using the in-room TV (payment by credit card), but at significantly higher rates: The video on demad movies cost EUR 4/movie/night, and the Internet-connection EUR 9/night. Where can I have breakfast? Breakfast is not included in the room rate at Omena, as many hotel guests want to pay only for the accommodation, not auxiliary services they do not need. In most cities it is possible to order breakfast at a nearby cafe. You can place the order with your booking or just walk in to the cafe. All our rooms are equipped with a small refrigerator, a microwave oven, and a tea/coffee maker, meaning that you can make your own breakfast conveniently in the hotel room. All our hotels are located in city centers, where you will find food stores and kiosks with food stuff for sale.

Are there any rebates? In Omena Hotels, we offer the best available rates for all our customers and thus we have no rebates of any kind. At any booking time the rates will be the same for all clients. The rate is dependent on how well in advance you place your booking and how fully booked the hotel is at your chosen day of arrival. Booking Book your Omena hotel on the internet at www.omena.com/booking, The room charge will be debited upon booking. Our booking system always shows the best available rate. You can pay for your booking with the following credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron (only with the Verified by Visa service), Mastercard and American Express. You can also pay through the internet bank service of most Finnish banks. You can also book your room through our customer service department by phone. The phone number is 0600 18018 when calling within Finland and +358 600 18018 when calling from abroad. There is a charge of EUR 1.97/minute + your local telephone charge. We additionally charge a phone booking fee of EUR 9. You can pay for a phone booking with your credit card, not Visa Electron nor Internet banks. For walk-in customers there is also a booking kiosk in each Omena hotel lobby. At the kiosk you can make your booking over the Internet. You can also book your Omena Hotel in a travel agency, but please remember that the travel agent most likely will charge you a fee for making the booking. Can I book for another person? Yes you can. The guest and the booker need not be the same person. We kindly ask you to fill in the contact person field with your own information and the guest field with the information and especially the mobile phone number of the traveller. Can I modify or cancel a booking I have already paid for? Our customers can change or cancel their booking themselves on the Internet at www.omena.com. You have the right to cancel or change your booking without extra costs no later than 24 hours prior to arrival. You will receive an electronic voucher with the value of your original booking. If the customer wishes to have the refund transmitted to his account or by crediting his credit card, he will be refunded the sum paid for the booking less booking and office charges (10% of the total sum paid, yet no more than EUR 10). If there is less than 24 hours to arrival, you cannot anymore change or cancel your booking. It is neither not possible to shorten a booking already started. Cheaper on the Internet? It is always cheapest to make a booking on the Internet. How soon should I get the confirmation? Your confirmation will come as an e-mail and text message immediately after your booking. Please check your booking details if you have not received any message. Please check that your e-mail address is correctly spelled. Please check the fire wall of your e-mail system. In some cases, you might find our automatically generated confirmation message in your spam folder. This may happen especially if you use a free e-mail service. I have no Finnish personal identification number As a foreign traveller you will not have a Finnish personal identification number. Please choose your native country, then your date of birth and then your passport number. All these pieces of information are requested by the authorities. Is it safe to give my credit card details? Yes, it is. When you choose credit card as your form of payment, the payment procedure will take place on the secured site of your credit card company. The payment system is protected and operated under European law. Also Omena Hotels own booking system is secured and no third party will be able to access any information given. We do never store credit card information on our own servers. Is it safe to give my personal details? Yes, it is. We need some information of all our guests in order to be able to confirm the booking. Part of the information is required by the authorities and other in order to be able to assist a guest in case of any problems, such as the door code missing. We will give information to the authorities only on request. Is it safe to pay through Internet banking? Yes, it is. When you choose Internet banking as your form of payment, the payment procedure will take place on the secured site of your own bank. The Internet banking services of Finnish banks are secure and operate under Finnish law. Also Omena Hotels own booking system is secured and no third party will be able to access any information given. We do not have access to your bank account number. NOTE, You can only pay with Finnis net bank accounts. What does last stop mean? Finnish authorities require that foreign travellers will inform the location from which they arrive to the hotel. Why do room rates in Omena Hotels differ from day to day? Hotel accommodation is a perishable product. Nobody is prepared to pay anything today for an unoccupied room yesterday. Even if our pricing policy is unbeaten in the marketplace, we do face days with lesser demand than other days. During such periods we may offer rooms for sale at even lower rates. The room rate in Omena Hotels thus change with demand. It is probable that the hotels will be fully booked during big events and rates will then also increase. We therefore always recommend making your booking well in advance. Availability and rates are on display in our booking system at www.omena.com. You will see the rates in the lower end of the screen when you have chosen your hotel, amount of rooms and date. You cannot choose a day which is fully booked.

Situated at the isthmus between Lake Nasijarvi and Lake Pyhajarvi, the town is an attractive site for tourism. The Omena Hotel Tampere is located right in the town center, about 1 km from the railway and bus stations. In the immediate vicinity of the Omena Hotel, there are numerous cafes, pubs, night clubs, and restaurants (ranging from red carpet establishments to take-away restaurants, pizzerias and hamburger bars). The marketplace, the Koskikeskus mall, and the city's largest department stores (in addition to countless small shops and fashion boutiques) - are all located a mere stone's throw away from the hotel. The Sarkanniemi amusement park is situated about 1 km from the hotel, and The Tampere City Theatre, the Vapriikki Museum Centre, the Plevna Cinema Centre, and many other art institutes, museums and churches are all located within a walking distance from the hotel. The distance to the Tampere Hall, the center for concerts and congresses, is 1.5 km. Numerous parking facilities can be found in the vicinity of the Omena Hotel, for instance Frenckell's Underground Parking at the central marketplace, and the parking facilities P-Anttila and P-Hameenkatu. Airpro Oy offers a bus connection between the Pirkkala Airport and the railway station in the city center when a Ryanair flight is arriving or departing (fare: 6 eur/person). The public transportation of Tampere is well-maintained.
