Ultimately luxurious suite with a palatial canopied king bed in master bedroom, two single beds in the large loft bedroom, spacious living room with vaulted ceiling, complete kitchen and den, enormous marbled bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, large sunny balcony facing the vast Kachina Bowl with magnificent views. Accommodates 2-4 guests. Winter: $335-395 per night (double occupancy). King Ludvig Suite main floor. King Ludvig Suite Loft. The Lola Montez Suite. Romantic suite in pink and crimson has a raised queen bed downstairs, two single beds in the loft, large marble bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. Accommodates 2-4 guests. Winter: $275-$335 per night (double occupancy). The Lola Montez Suite main floor. The Lola Montez Suite loft. This open and spacious suite with vaulted ceiling, queen bed in the loft bedroom, large living room downstairs with a single sleeper sofa and marble bathroom accommodates 2-3 guests. The Thomas Suite main floor. The Thomas Suite loft. This secluded family apartment has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, large living area with queen sleeper sofa and kitchen. The master bedroom is adorned with antique Bavarian hunters' lodge furniture and a king bed, the other bedrooms have queen beds. Accommodates 6-8 guests comfortably. Bikes can be rented for the day at Stay Tuned Sports and Cottam's. Take a great ride up the Rubezahl trail to The Bavarian for a gourmet lunch. Guided horseback rides are available daily at Taos Ski Valley, or we can arrange for rides at the Historic Taos Pueblo on Scenic Indian Lands. The Bavarian can also arrange whitewater rafting trips with experienced, certified guides. Expert fishing guides can be booked through the lodge, usually for an all day trip. The warm, cozy restaurant features a genuine Bavarian tile oven to warm guests' backs while dining. Original Bavarian-Austrian cuisine and only the most traditional Ski Alm gourmet dishes are served. The highly professional and friendly staff, dressed in traditional Bavarian attire, serve Bavarian beers and the finest European and American wines. Lunch is served on the large sundeck, at the outdoor bar and grille featuring our cushioned reclining sunchaises from 11:30 until 3:30. During times of inclement weather lunch will be served inside. Drinks and snacks are served during Apres-Ski Hours from 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Dinner is served from 5:30 until closing. Please inquire about our free dinner shuttle from TSV base area.

The Bavarian is the only ski-in, ski-out lodge located mid-mountain, just yards from the base of the Kachina Quad chairlift, to which our guests have exclusive access during the early portion of the morning. Guests can ski to the lodge from any part of the mountain, ride up the Quad directly from the lodge or ski the 1.3 mile trail back to the village base. In addition, complimentary transportation to and from the base is warmly offered to The Bavarian's guests.
