Holly Corner is a private family home B B, run solely by Jan. We are perfectly located for all events and venues in the Harrogate area e.g. The Great Yorkshire Showground and the Harrogate International Conference Centre. Historic Knaresborough itself has an unrivalled charm and beauty in a unique and idyllic setting. The town is ideally located for exploring the county of Yorkshire, with Harrogate, York and Ripon all close by. Some of the numerous local activities include golf, fishing, swimming, boating, sightseeing and rambling. The Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors are areas of breathtaking countryside and are easily accessible as are both East and West coastlines which are equi-distant from Knaresborough (approx. one and a half hours drive to both. Knaresborough is also a perfect stopping-off point for travellers up and down the country - 4 miles from the A1(M) on the A59 (Junction 47). The DOUBLE room is beautifully appointed with large hand wash basin. A comfortable and restful room with an outlook onto the charming rear garden. Adjacent, spacious bathroom and a SEPARATE toilet ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :- In order to maintain our reputation for above average accommodation and because it is our home, there will be NO access to rooms during the day i.e. between 10.00 hours and 16.00 hours unless prior consent is given on booking. Holly Corner is purely Bed and Breakfast. Car parking will be at the front of the property ONLY during your stay. PLEASE CHECK POSITIONING ON ARRIVAL for the benefit of our immediate neighbours. Parking elsewhere is NOT POSSIBLE UNLESS GUIDANCE IS GIVEN AND PERMISSION IS GRANTED - (Private Drive). We regret that due to past difficulties we have had to place the following restrictions: - Adult accommodation only - FOR THOSE ATTENDING DAYTIME FUNCTIONS: Unfortunately, we can NOT turn the accommodation around quickly enough to allow the use of rooms before the time given above. If accommodation is required for weddings or other daytime functions, guests should, perhaps, book them the evening before to allow them to prepare. However, PLEASE ENQUIRE. N.B. Wherever accommodation is booked, rooms are not normally available until mid - late afternoon. - Sorry, no pets - Holly Corner is a non-smoking home. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE LETTING OF BOTH THE DOUBLE AND THE TWIN ROOMS IS POSSIBLE, BUT THE LARGE BATHROOM AND SEPARATE TOILET WOULD HAVE TO BE SHARED. THIS WOULD APPLY ONLY TO 3 OR 4 PEOPLE IN THE SAME PARTY AND NOT TO A SINGLE TWO - PERSON BOOKING, THEREBY RETAINING THE FACILITIES AS PRIVATE FOR EITHER THE DOUBLE ROOM OR THE TWIN ROOM. As these rooms are all on the same landing, we have, in essence, a 'suite' suitable for three or four persons travelling together who would be quite happy with this arrangement. Spacious and inviting bathroom. The attractive SINGLE room has an outlook over the frontage of Holly Corner and the private drive. This room has the SOLE USE of a large shower room with hand wash-basin and toilet. The Twin room is smaller and classed as a more 'basic' room than the Double room. However, it has a bathroom and SEPARATE toilet next to the room. Shaver points are located either in bedrooms OR their facilities.
