The Halcyon House BB Map and Directions. Directions from West Lawrence Exit. After you go thru the toll both, you are heading South on McDonald Road. Keep heading South thru 1st intersection (youll see the Holiday Inn on your left). Keep heading South as you come to and go under an underpass (Hwy 40 59). After the underpass, the name of the street changes to Iowa St (Veer to the left lane). Turn Left (East) at the next intersection (9th Street). Youll go down a big hill as you start to descend into the downtown area. The streets are named after States. Go about 15 blocks. Turn right on Ohio Street (its between a gas station and bank). Halcyon House is on the next block on the S.E. Corner of 10th and Ohio. It faces 10th street. Its a blue house with a small sign on the gaslight. Directions From The Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to Halcyon House. Follow the signs to get you out of the airport and to the highways. Merge onto US-71 N/I-435 W/I-29 N via the ramp- on the left- toward ST JOSEPH. Go just about 2 miles. Merge onto I-435 S via exit number 17 toward TOPEKA. Go about 18 miles. Merge onto I-70 W via exit number 12 toward TOPEKA (Portions toll). Go about 25 miles. Take the EAST LAWRENCE exit. Go thru the toll booth, take a left (South) at the intersection (there is a traffic light) immediately following the toll both. Continue driving South for a couple of miles. After you go across the bridge and cross the river there is an intersection (6th and Vermont). Go straight thru the intersection. You are now on Vermont Street. Continue 4 blocks to 10th street and turn right (West). Halcyon House is on the corner of the 3rd block (Ohio). Halcyon House is situated on the South East corner of 10th and Ohio.
