Environment - General. Hotel Brimnes offers accommodation in eleven spacious double rooms with bathrooms. On the ground floor there is a comfortable television lounge, a restaurant and a bar. You can also choose to stay in Finnish-style cabins by the small-boat harbour at the northern end of the lake Olafsfjaroarvatn close to the hotel. These cabins expanded the hotel's accommodation capacity from 22 beds to 58. There are eight of these cabins. The first four are sleeping cabins, consisting of two double bedrooms with a bathroom between them, and are considered as a direct extension of the hotel; the rooms are rented out like the rooms in the hotel itself, with bed linen, towels, breakfast, etc., included in the price. Then come four family cabins for families or groups. These are fully furnished holiday cottages with a lounge, kitchenette, bathroom, a bedroom on the ground floor and a sleeping loft. There are beds for four, and two extra mattresses are provided. The price for these cabins includes bed linen and towels but not breakfast. Delicious seafood dishes are available in the hotel restaurant, and in particular saltfish prepared in Mediterranean style. Meat dishes based on Icelandic lamb and beef are also on the menu, and last but not least the best pizzas in town.

Grace a ces gites, la capacite d´accueil de l´hotel est passee de 22 a 58 lits. Ces chalets sont au nombre de huit dont quatre ne sont en fait que des chambres pensees en prolongement de l´hotel lui-meme. Ces chambres offrent donc les memes prestations que celles de l´hotel, draps, serviettes de bain, petit dejeuner etc. Les quatre autres chalets sont des gites familiaux et sont entierement equipes, pourvus d´un salon, d´un coin cuisine, d´ une salle de bains, d´une chambre a coucher au rez de chaussee ainsi que d´une mezzanine. Dans ces chalets, vous disposez d´un couchage pour 4 personnes ainsi que de 2 matelas supplementaires. Cette formule n´inclut ni les draps, ni les serviettes de toilettes, ni le petit dejeuner. Il est cependant possible de louer le linge de maison a petit prix. Le restaurant de l´hotel propose de savoureux plats de poisson et autres fruits de mer et notre specialite de morue donne un accent mediterraneen a notre cuisine.
