Steppe Haugh offers you well appointed en suite accommodation with central heating, tea/coffee making facilities. There are three double rooms and 1 twin room with en-suite showers. The single room has an en-suite bath. All rooms have colour TV and hospitality trays, as well as hairdryers and alarm clocks. We are a non-smoking establishment and unfortunately we do not take credit cards. Children over the age of 8 years welcome. Steppe Haugh is a pet friendly establishment but we do require notice if a dog or other pet is to accompany visitors who wish to come and stay. Only one of the rooms is suitable for pets and it can only accommodate a single dog. Accommodation Prices for the 2008 Season. Situated at the peaceful end of the picturesque Wensleydale market town of Hawes it is only a few minutes away from the main shopping centre of this ever-popular visitors centre. Steppe Haugh can be found on the Leyburn to Kendal road that runs through Hawes.
Hawes in Wensleydale is an historic market town, situated in the heart of the Dales National Park. An ideal base for seeing the delights of James Herriot's Yorkshire and the Lake District. We are centrally located for touring, walking, climbing or pony trekking in Upper Wensleydale.
