The Red Bus Hostel is a long standing hostel in the heart of downtown central Budapest and is a budget travellers haven. We offer a quality, clean and safe hostel at an affordable price for all. The hostel is easily reachable from the Airport and the train stations. We like to think that we run our hostel properly for those travellers who wish to learn about and discover all about Budapest and Hungary, we are not just a business. We are NOT a party hostel, if it is non stop partying you are after then there are plenty of other hostels in Budapest who will allow you to do so. For example we do not accept groups of guys and do not tolerate stupid drunken behaviour. We believe that it is not fair on the other guests and the staff. This doesn't mean however that we are against you enjoying yourselves! We wish for you to have a great time in Budapest and make new friends in our hostel and enjoy what our capital City can offer!
The ever popular Red Bus Hostel is a clean, quiet and safe budget hostel in the very heart of central downtown Budapest, close to all sights, restaurants and nightlife. The staff here are all Hungarian and we pride ourselves on our friendliness and hospitality. Red Bus is easy walking distance from the Danube, Opera House, St. Stephen Basilica, Jewish Quarter, the famous Great Synagogue and Museum of Terror. The hostel has large 4 bed dorms, single, double and triple rooms. There is a kitchen with full facilities, which guests are free to use, laundry service and of course clean bedsheets and linen are provided. The WC's and showers have hot water, are kept in tip top condition and are inspected regulary. The hostel also has internet access and organised walking tours. There are car parks close by and free baggage storage for once you have checked out. With English and German speaking staff, it is close to all train stations and easy access from the Airport. Euros, Pounds and credit cards accepted as payment and we have 24 hr check in. A second hand English bookshop is attached to the hostel where you bookworms can buy and trade your old paperbacks.
