Under architectural supervision, the Villa Duchess has been completely refurbished and converted into a hotel with
conference facilities. The basement contains the
kitchen and
breakfast room, plus
toilets. On the ground floor, there are two adjoining
conference rooms (25+35m2), the reception
desk and
office. There are
four bedrooms on the first floor and another four on the second floor. Half of the
bedrooms face the sea. All
rooms are provided with hot and cold running (drinking) water, electricity and
air conditioning (with summer and winter settings).
Villa Duchess has a
bar on the ground floor. The receptionist will tell you the opening times. The basement houses the
kitchen, where
breakfast and snacks are prepared. The
kitchen does provide
lunches or
dinners for the guests, but the receptionist can also show guests local
restaurant menus and advise them where to go. Whenever the
conference rooms are not rented out, they can be used as a sitting
room or assembly point for guests. Guests can relax in the easy chairs surrounding the large fireplace and look at the unusual artwork on the walls.
Varna has an international
airport. From April up and until October there are direct charter flights from a lot of European cities. These flights last about two to three hours and fares start at around 200 euro. There are scheduled flights as well throughout the year. Villa Duchess is about 20 minutes by road from the
airport. You can order our shuttle bus service to fetch you from the
airport. Varna has road and rail connections to Sofia (450km) and Bucharest (240km), but these journeys are time-consuming. The map reference is 43.12 northern latitude and 27.55 eastern longitude..
