Recreational sports on Grand Cayma. There are a number of land-based sports available to visitors, including golf, tennis, bowling, horseback riding, bicycling, billiards, jogging and hiking. For those interested, the following is a list of useful references. There are three golf courses on Grand Cayman: the 18-hole Britannia Golf Course (345-949-8020), created by Jack Nicklaus, The Links at Safehaven (345-949-5988), a championship 18-hole course, and the new one at the Ritz-Carlton hotel. Beautiful, professionally trained horses available for morning and sunset horseback riding, at 9:00am or 4:30pm, on trails or on the beach. Nicki's Beach Rides offers one and a half-hour rides at US$65, per person -- less 10% discount for Inn guests, and Nicki herself guides all rides. Six riders maximum, novice or experienced, minimum age seven years old, and basic instruction is given.
