Southern Cross Fun Photo Extravaganza. Wanna capture a truly FINE memory, win some really FUN prizes, and maybe even have your photo PUBLISHED in a dive magazine? Join in on the first annual photo contest at the Southern Cross
Club. We regularly receive images taken by our guests during their stay. We love getting them and came up with an idea to showcase some of these amazing pictures. A year long photo contest during which guests who have stayed at the
Club can enter some of the images they took while on Little Cayman. These will be posted on the
Club's website gallery for all to view (put the photo gallery link here). A year from now our judges (see below) will choose a few images images to be published. Winners of each category will receive wild Southern Cross
Club prizes, like private one tank dives, private beach
dinners served to you by a waiter in a tuxedo, and firework shows! So how do I enter? If you have stayed at the Southern Cross
Club between 01 July 2007 and 30th June 2008 you may enter a total of 5 images. The images must have been taken during the competition period and be shot on Little Cayman. Closing date for the competition is 15th July 2008 and the winners will be anounced on the 15th August 2008. The images must be submitted in a jpeg digital format to the dedicated competition email address within 60 days of your stay at the
Club. Images may not exceed a maximum size of 1000 pixels (on the images longest side) at a resolution of 72 dpi. Images must be emailed to
photo@southerncrossclub.com. One image per email. Your initial and last name along with the category code and photo number (1 though 5) must appear in the file name of the jpeg and in the subject line of the email. See the examples below for more information. Point and shoot cameras are cameras which do not have interchangeable lenses. SLR cameras are single lens reflex cameras with interchangeable lenses. Club reserves the right to use the images submitted for the promotion of the
Club. In such cases the photographer will receive a photo credit. Divers entering the competition must abide by all
safe diving practices. Photographers may not disturb, touch or harass any wildlife in order to get a photo. Photographs showing distressed wildlife, such as an inflated puffer fish will not be eligible for the competition. Southern Cross
Club reserves the right to remove certain images from the competition should it be necessary. We will endeavor to make sure all entries are processed and posted but Southern Cross
Club cannot be held responsible for images not received do to technical issues. By entering the competition you have agreed to the above rules. A smile, good sense of humor and honesty in submission is required to enter. Good-luck!

private rooms are situated along the white coral sand beach, facing the gorgeous South Hole Sound and uninhabited Owen Island. This layout affords a cooling southern breeze from the summer trade winds and stellar ocean views from each
room. Set in the middle of this row of bungalows is Clubs main building. The
club house features the main
dining room, a
screened, open air dining pavilion, the main
bar and thatched Tiki
bar around the freshwater
pool. In keeping with the laid back feel of the
Club, the
bar operates on an honor system during the day. As the afternoon cools, an in-house bartender is always on hand to mix a wide array of colorful tropical
drinks. Both the main
bar and Tiki
bar provide a great meeting place for the Clubs guests, as well as a few locals, to discuss the days fishing and diving as the sun sets before
dinner. Friday night dock
parties have become an institution on the island and offer the best of Caribbean dock
dinners. All other evenings feature a la carte dinning. Choose to eat in our
air-conditioned dining room, our
screened dinning pavilion, or outside,, under a billion Caribbean stars, either on our
