Our rooms and cottages span the spectrum of beauty, elegance, comfort and romance as well as offering a wide range of budget and amenities. All our rooms have fireplaces and each one is individually decorated with a finely tuned attention to detail. All rooms in the inn have gas fireplaces, private baths, air conditioning. Full breakfast included (on BB plan). Smoke free environment. Rates are double occupancy per night. Additional person, add $25. Rates are year round except Sun-Thurs during off-season (Jan-May lower pricing applies). Some holidays and foliage season (Sept 15 - Oct 30) have higher rates. Also, please note that during foliage season (and some holidays) we have a 2-3 night minimum. Sweetheart Guest Rooms. Our four Sweetheart Guest Rooms; Dreaming in the Attic. Pondering on the Porch all have fireplaces and Spa Tubs with heated back rests. The Spa tubs literally massage you with air, perfect after a long day of hiking in the woods or skiing on the slopes. Kitchenette, bath with two-person, tiled shower, loft bedroom with lovely north and south facing vistas and queen bed, and gas fireplace stove. (Two night minimum required). These rooms have fireplaces and private baths. FOUR SEASONS ROOM Provincial look, scrolled iron queen bed, and an antique English armoire. Corner fireplace. Front room overlooks the Green with its little white church and red covered bridge. BICENTENNIAL ROOM This room had its beginnings in 1991, Vermont's bicentennial, and was completed in 1992, our farmstead's 200th year. The decor of this special room blends memories from the past with today's little luxuries. Queen four poster canopy bed, fireplace, and whirlpool tub bath feature an intimate setting. Southerly views overlook spacious lawns, tennis court, studios, and horses and cows on the neighboring mountainside meadows.

The Norman Rockwell Studio. Norman Rockwell's Artist Studio, a nonsmoking, fully-furnished, air-conditioned accommodation is available for 4 persons (but can sleep more). The studio, privately situated on the Inn's grounds, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, fireplace, VCR, phone. The large open room with the 10' square north light window where Mr. Rockwell painted, is now comfortably furnished as a living room with a dining area where guests may gather around the wood burning fireplace, watch movies from our private video library or enjoy a meal. A second floor bedroom features a sun deck with panoramic views. $280.00 per night, including breakfast $240.00 per night, without breakfast (Two night minimum required). Please ask us about pricing for the self-catered plan. Upstairs Bedroom Balcony. Upstairs bedroom has Queen size bed and en suite bath and south facing private balcony. Downstairs bedroom has Queen bed, shower bath and a south facing deck with views of apple orchard, cows and horses on hillside meadows. The Norman Rockwell Studio is truly one of a kind. Norman Rockwell lived in Arlington, Vermont from 1942 to 1954. While here he drew and painted many f his most famous Post covers and illustrations. While in Arlington he lived in the house now called Inn On Covered Bridge Green. During this time he built the studio in the back. Now fully restored you can actually stay in this historical building. You can also enjoy all the amenities of our other rooms, such as our amazing breakfasts.

Drive over the wooden planks of the West Arlington Covered Bridge, and emerge into a canvas of pure Americana. On the other side of the bridge is the original village green of Arlington where the white steepled Chapel on the Green rests, the Battenkill Grange that still fills for harvest suppers and the pavilion, once used for square dancing, now serves as a dance floor for wedding celebrations and family reunions.
