Video Clip. The Inn at Long Trail, a classic Vermont inn, bed and
breakfast with Irish
pub, close to
skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and
golf. Located in Killington Vermont in the heart of the Green Mountains. You'll feel right at home at the Inn at Long Trail. The Inn has been serving skiers, hikers and people who love the mountains since 1938. The Inn was the first lodge built in Vermont to specifically serve the
skiing community. The McGrath family took ownership in July, 1977. They have restored the Inn to its rustic splendor. Hardwood floors with tree trunks as beams and supports set the charm of the
living room complete with comfortable Adirondack style
furniture. Photo by Jerry LaBlond. Nothing draws you in like a fire in the large field stone fireplace. Soothe tired muscles either from
skiing or hiking in a old style redwood hot
tub. Split logs stairs take you up to the cozy lodging, country
bedrooms all with private
baths. In addition, there are
five two room fireplace
suites that include a
bedroom with queen size bed, and a
living room with fireplaces,
telephone,
TV and a small
refrigerator, again with private
baths. The inn is ideally located right on route 4, 1/4 mile up the road from Killington's Pico base lodge, making the Inn at Long Trail one of the closest inns to Killington. Also the new Green Mountain
Golf Course is only minutes away. Innkeepers Murray and Patty McGrath with their two sons Connor and Brogan live on premise and invite you to stay and enjoy their hospitality. One of the things I like best about Pico is that it is across the street from the Inn at Long Trail and McGrath's Irish
Pub, which is built into a huge rock outcropping Excerpt from Snow? Yes. Crowds? No. by Bill Pennington, Dec. 2, New York Times for Irish Music Schedule. Summer Fall Activities. (800) 325-2540 (802) 775-7181
