Beautiful Rustic Charm Great Food!. Henry Torrie Frecon 3/3/08. The Inn pub are now open for the summer season!! 709 Route 4, Sherburne Pass, Killington, Vermont (800) 325-2540. Irish Music Schedule. Inn at Long Trail Video Clip. The Inn at Long Trail, a classic Vermont inn, bed and breakfast with Irish pub, close to skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and golf. Located in Killington Vermont in the heart of the Green Mountains. You'll feel right at home at the Inn at Long Trail. The Inn has been serving skiers, hikers and people who love the mountains since 1938. The Inn was the first lodge built in Vermont to specifically serve the skiing community. The McGrath family took ownership in July, 1977. They have restored the Inn to its rustic splendor. Hardwood floors with tree trunks as beams and supports set the charm of the living room complete with comfortable Adirondack style furniture. Photo by Jerry LaBlond. Nothing draws you in like a fire in the large field stone fireplace. Soothe tired muscles either from skiing or hiking in a old style redwood hot tub. Split logs stairs take you up to the cozy lodging, country bedrooms all with private baths. In addition, there are five two room fireplace suites that include a bedroom with queen size bed, and a living room with fireplaces, telephone, TV and a small refrigerator, again with private baths. The inn is ideally located right on route 4, 1/4 mile up the road from Killington's Pico base lodge, making the Inn at Long Trail one of the closest inns to Killington. Also the new Green Mountain Golf Course is only minutes away. Innkeepers Murray and Patty McGrath with their two sons Connor and Brogan live on premise and invite you to stay and enjoy their hospitality. One of the things I like best about Pico is that it is across the street from the Inn at Long Trail and McGrath's Irish Pub, which is built into a huge rock outcropping Excerpt from Snow? Yes. Crowds? No. by Bill Pennington, Dec. 2, New York Times for Irish Music Schedule. Summer Fall Activities. (800) 325-2540 (802) 775-7181 Fax (802) 747-7034

Photo by Jerry LaBlonde. McGrath's Irish Pub at the Inn at Long Trail in Killington is the area's first and foremost Irish pub. Run like a true family pub in Ireland, everybody is welcome, Grand kids to Grandparents. is held on stage every weekend when open. Being the first to sell the Guinness on draft in Vermont, the pub continues to sell the most as well. Come find out why. It is truly a fine pint! Additional libations include the state's largest selection of Irish Whiskies. The Irish pub boasts three real dart boards and a large screen TV for sports. The same boulder that is in the dining room continues in through to the pub. There is also another serving as a couch! A delicious.
