The Resort Amarilla Bay is located on the Costa del Silencio - translated as the Silent Coast, and is situated approximately six miles from the Southern Airport. The skyline is dominated by the peak of the magnificent Mount Teide. There are many bars, shops, excellent restaurants and super fishing and snorkelling lagoons. Costa del Silencio itself features three golf courses: Golf del Sur, Amarilla Golf and Golf los Palos and a 20 minute drive from Costa del Silencio will take you past Golf las Americas to Golf Costa Adeje. Close to Amarilla Bay is the fishing village of Las Galletas, this is a lively seaside town with a very Canarian flavour. The harbour accommodates a small inshore fishing fleet who sell their catch on a daily basis at the small market on the beachfront. The harbour is also popular with yachts and pleasure craft owners. The waters off the coast of Las Galletas afford excellent diving sites, and there are a variety of diving schools to choose from.

The Apartment Our apartment is located on the apartment complex, on the outskirts of Las Galletas and situated less than 100 yards from the sea. On the complex there is a swimming pool, shop and bar selling home-cooked food. Situated on the ground floor of the complex, the apartment has excellent access for children and the disabled. Our recently refurbished, one bedroom apartment sleeps up to four people. It is tastefully furnished and equipped with modern amenities including TV (BBC1, BB2, ITV, CH4 and others), video, DVD player, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and safe. Bookings are only accepted on the following terms: The apartment let is provided only for the use of the persons agreed. The apartment must be vacated by 10.00 AM on the day of departure unless an extension has been previously agreed in writing. A non-refundable deposit of 100.00 is required to reserve the apartment which is payable when making the initial booking. Please note: this is a partially residential complex and excessive noise or rowdy behaviour will not be tolerated. 2. Damage/Excessive Cleaning Deposit. A Damage/Excessive Cleaning/Keys Deposit of 100.00 per booking is payable with the initial deposit, which will be refunded within two weeks after your departure from the apartment less any deduction deemed necessary by the owners after consultation with apartment manager in respect of damages and/or an excessive cleaning requirement. Should you have the misfortune to accidentally break any small items during your stay, we recommend that you simply replace such items to avoid a claim being made upon your damage deposit. All keys must be returned to the owners as soon as possible after your return to the UK. Any keys not returned will be replaced immediately with the accompanying locks and the cost deducted from the damage deposit. 4. Paying the Balance. The balance must be received no later than four weeks prior to the date of departure from the U.K. In the event of the balance not being received by us by this time, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. 5. Cancellation You may cancel your booking in writing at anytime but a cancellation charge as shown below may be levied and will be calculated from the date we receive the written cancellation notice: More than 28 days before departure deposit only. 20 to 28 days 40% of total rental (if more than deposit). 14 to 20 days 60% of total rental (if more than deposit). 01 to 14 days 80% of total rental. Day of departure or later 100% of total rental. 6. Liability and Disclaimer. The owners will in no way be liable for claims arising from accidents or losses affecting their clients or caused by their clients. You are strongly advised to take out comprehensive holiday insurance covering the duration of your holiday and to obtain a free Form E111 by completing the necessary documentation (available from main post offices in the U.K). which enables the holders to receive medical treatment on the local equivalent of the National Health in public hospitals in Tenerife.
