Fifteen minutes south of Playa awaits Xcaret eco-park. There you can enjoy the gorgeous lagoon off the Caribbean, cenotes, swim with the dolphins and see tropical birds and animals in their natural habitat. Twenty minutes further south is Xel Ha, where you can enjoy great snorkling, scuba diving, horseback riding, or just a wonderful day at the beach.
