A walk up and down the historical streets with buildings dated back to the nineteenth century is highly recommended. You can go for a walk in the vigorous hotel garden, and down to the river Vefsna. I 2005 ble siste utbyggingsprosjekt avsluttet med ombygging av 8 doble gjesterom i kvistetasjen pa gammelhotellet fra 1866. Disse rommene er gjenskapt i gammel, men samtidig funksjonell stil.
