Your hosts, Agnes Joe, a couple in their 40s, have been a team in life and
business for 18 years. In 2003, they moved from the snowy peaks of Colorado to sunny. Costa Rica, traveling there on their motorcycles. Their professional experience in the service industry is diverse, and includes such jobs as maitre d', pastry chef, waiter, administration,
office manager, carpentry and accounting. They speak fluent French, English, Spanish and Portuguese and have knowledge of Italian and German. They are well traveled, friendly, open-minded, and very active. Their love of nature and wildlife was a big part in their decision to open Villa Mango. They will guide you in planning your day, making your airlines reservation from San Jose and book your daily activities, such as river
tour, horseback-riding, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba training and diving, turtle watching
tours, hiking and more. And they can also teach you the basics of Salsa and Merengue! Also please meet our co-host, Minette! You will see her a lot on our guest book as she loves to have her picture taken! She is a well-behaved cat and is not allowed inside the house or the
bedrooms. She loves company and will hang out on the
terrace with you, but will never impose herself on you!
