The Nosara Beach House FAQS. Did you suffer any damage during the recent Hurricane? No, we weathered the storm just fine, and all local services are operating. What size beds are available? The Studio Units come with either a King or 2 Twin beds, and the Two Bedroom Unit has 2 Queen size beds, and a Children's Twin. What size are the Units? The Studio Units are approximately 400 sq.ft. The 2 Bedroom Unit measures approximately 600 sq.ft., and includes a private patio. What amenities are available? We provide 24 hour security; daily housekeeping; complimentary wireless Internet; free local phone calls and morning coffee; and the use of body boards. Have you ever had any Celebrities stay there? Paris Hilton has not yet been here, but notable guests do visit from time to time. Naturally, to protect their privacy we do not disclose any details.

The Beaches of Nosara. You will find The Nosara Beach House here. The longest of the five beaches, about 5 kilometers of light sand and rolling surf. A favorite beach for surfers with consistent and dependable waves. The beach, as part of the National Wildlife Refuge is pristine with tropical vegetation and offers a private feeling. Our sport fishing beach, protected by a reef line offshore. Garza, the fishing village has some bars, small native restaurants and coconut palm trees. Lovely beach with palms and tropical vegetation, just like being in paradise. It is known for swimming and has a spectacular blow hole and seven natural caves. A local fisherman can take you to see dolphins or turtles. Black sand beach and a favorite place for fishermen, because 2 of Cost Rica's longest rivers empty into a lagoon behind Playa Nosara. Explore up the river by canoe or kayak and enjoy a unique wonderland of animals and tropical vegetation. Black sand beach and the second largest nesting place in the world for Olive Ridley Turtles. Local residents can tell you the right time of the month to see the arribada, the arrival of thousands of turtles who swarm ashore to lay eggs. Sometimes there can be as many as 150,000 turtles coming ashore as they lay millions of eggs in the sand. Playa Ostional is one of the few places in the world where you can observe this phenomenon.
