sink in the master
suites for brushing teeth etc. Do I need to be careful about eating fruits and vegetables at the villa? No, all perishable food is rinsed in purified water in which we add chlorine drops (tasteless) to assure all water is
safe. How much do we budget for food? People always ask how much to budget for food. We can't tell you exactly, as it depends on the number of people in your group and daily fluctuating food prices, but we can give you a general idea. We usually budget approximately $25-$35/per person/per day depending on number of guests: $25/person/day for 8 guests, $30/person/per day for 4 guests, and $35/person for our honeymoon couples! This budget also provides simple, traditional Mexican meals for our staff, who average over l4 hours a day working for the comfort of our guests. Is this food budget exact? No, it's an estimate only. The exact cost of the food will be whatever the food actually costs. For example, if people request lobster several nights, it is going to cost more than if people request chicken! However, this is a good budget number. What does the food budget include? This includes food, margarita ingredients, soda pop, beer, purified water,
coffee, and condiments etc. What does the food budget NOT include? Liquor (except for margaritas) and wine. How do we coordinate paying for food? We find that it is easiest to designate one person in your group to handle money and coordinate with Roberto for meals. Most guests collect the estimated per person food costs prior to departure for Acapulco or at the beginning of the
trip and then settle up at the end of the
trip if there is a credit or debit. How do I know what is being spent for food? Roberto will provide receipts for all purchases. How do I get to Villa Estrella from the
airport? Upon arriving in Acapulco, Roberto will be waiting outside the customs exit door to greet you and whisk you away to Villa Estrella. Our Suburban will accommodate eight guests and their luggage, including
tennis rackets and
golf clubs. At the end of the
trip, Roberto will return you to the
airport as well. Is any other transportation included in the rental of the villa? Transportation to and from the
airport only. Can I rent the villa's Suburban during my stay at the villa? Yes. We rent the Suburban for a substantial discount over the
car rental agencies. You can rent by the day or by the week. How do I find out more information about the villa? Prior to arrival, we will mail our guests a detailed book that will provide a wealth of information about everything from our favorite shopping, excursions,
restaurants and
discos to practical tips for your
trip. Do you real...
Pam, Paul, and the wonderful staff at Villa Estrella;you have made my 50th birthday/family reunion unforgettable. Surely this place is just one step from paradise. We were awed and delighted by the food, the personal attention and the energy and hard work of Roberto and the entire staff. Thank you for a fantastic time. Carl Frani Carlson, 2000 Seattle, Washington. The Hanover family... is in awe. What a fabulous time;Villa Estrella is a slice of heaven... thanks to Roberto and the wonderful staff. Sue and Link, 2000 New York City, New York. All those lovely
restaurants can go to waste! Why ever leave here? Roberto and his staff could not have been nicer. Food... heavenly. Nelsons, 2000 Hoopster, Illinois. Villa Estrella is a heaven on earth. It changed our standards of vacationing forever. The staff was impeccable and always most helpful. We look forward to spending many more memorious vacations in your beautiful home that became ours so quickly. Thanks for making this an incredible memory. Janner Alex Bev, 2000 Toronto, Canada. We had an extraordinary week. I can't begin to thank you enough in offering us the use of your beautiful and enchanting home. But as wonderful as the villa may be, your real treasure resided in the staff. I have nothing but praise for each of them. Roberto went out of his way to serve us and to make us feel welcomed. His charm and wit; his talents and his expertise to efficiently run such a home was truly impressive and appreciated. As for Josephina, I would gladly offer her a green card and I tried to convince her that she should market her Key Lime Pie, her flan and especially, her French toast. I had 8lbs of great and wonderful eating in just 12 days! Ava is precious, unobtrusive, efficient and thorough. Arturo,
quiet and hard working. Each day he came in with a smile on his face, and quietly went about his
business, never stopping or loafing. If he spoke English, he'd be offered a green card too. I could use him in my church. Nety, was an unexpected treat. It's the only vacation that I've ever spent more time packing my bags at the end of a
trip. I returned with whiter whites and better pressed pants than when I originally arrived in Mexico. Pam, like all guests who experience Villa Estrella, I could go on and on and on... with praise. Even my dreams of staying at Las Brisas never attained the heights I experienced at the Villa. We all had a great time and we fell in love with the staff, the view and your home. It's nice to know that there's a bit of heaven on earth, and as incredible as it may be, as a priest, I've been taught that Heaven will even be better;fat chance now that I've been to the Villa!... I am left with wonderful memories of a wonderful time with wonderful friends. I will always be eternally grateful to you and your husband. My sincere thanks and gratitude for the best 12 days of my life. (Fr.) Normand, 2000 Boston, Massachusetts. After staying at Villa Estrella how (or why) could any other vacation compare? Josefina spoils our tastebuds;the staff caters to our every need. The view is the most spectacular;day or night. We felt quite at home here and will most definitely come back again. A true life fantasy with all one could wish for. Thanks for a wonderful time. Roberto's middle name should be service. Julia Child could learn from Josefina. The most descriptive words fail;spectacular, accommodating, glorious;all too drab for our experience. We look forward to countless years in the stars. Bruce Cain, 1998 Houston, Texas. Pam and Paul have made Villa Estrella, with its breathtaking view of one of the most beautiful settings in the world, into an exquisitely designed and comfortable home. But, the true stars of this villa are Roberto and his world class staff. Every need was catered to. The food so delicious that we never went out. Their skill and grace made our visit entirely to short. The Phelps, 1998 Washington. We have spent a week feeling like we were floating in a magic cloud, where all our wishes would come true, and all our cares were eased away by Roberto and his fabulous laugh and smile. Truly unforgettable. Gracias! The Johnsons, 1998 Edmonds, Washington. Ten days in luxury. This is our first villa experience and it was wonderful. Your home is beautifully designed for gracious living. A wonderful staff made us all feel special. Our son and his friend will be ever changed by the tropical fever of Acapulco. At 25 they had the energy to enjoy everything. Thank you. The Wilsons, 1998 Seattle, Washington. Villa Estrella is a breath of fresh air in a very busy world. Thank you Roberto and staff for your hospitality and great food. We will be back. The Goshens, 1998 Tulsa, Oklahoma. So fabulous! The detail of the villa is so impressive. The staff only added to complete our perfect stay. The Darnells, 1998 Laguna Hills, California
