Singing Sands Inn is a private secluded seafront resort on Maya Beach...with beautiful Placencia Lagoon nearby! Waiter tending to guests: "...Singing Sands is an oasis for the traveler...whether couples seeking a romantic space, groups in search of a base location...or birding enthusiasts and water lovers needing a place from which to begin...their Belizean adventure." Our Inn is tucked within a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, providing a restful environment for our guests.... We take pleasure in providing a relaxed, at home atmosphere. We've been working hard in recent months to completely renovate and remodel our entire property. We've completely redone the six thatched cabanas and our garden view rooms. They have new flooring made from local hardwoods, custom designed louvered screen doors and windows, remodeled bathrooms and showers, along with custom furniture built locally. The rooms are beautifully illuminated & simply decorated. Local artwork, hand-woven Guatemalan bed covers and hand painted Mexican tiles adorn each cabana. The world’s second largest barrier reef will be your front yard. The wide sandy beach or our pure water pool with new decking offers an abundance of both shade and sun....plenty of coconut palms, with hammocks and beach chairs waiting. Our 200’ pier gives our guests another sunny spot to relax, have a cold beverage and observe the abundance of marine life in the surrounding coral. Our swimming platform makes an ideal spot to begin exploring the clear waters, whether you choose snorkeling or paddling. The nearby lagoon is ideal for early morning bird watching or a late afternoon excursion, where you may quietly canoe or kayak, while watching for a variety of birds, manatee and an occasional crocodile. You may also want to try your hand at fishing here. The world's second largest barrier reef will be your front yard.

On Site amenities: Private bathrooms, hot showers, ceiling fans, portable air conditioners, coffee maker, hair dryer and fold out single beds available for your additional comfort, fresh water pool, 200' private dock, restaurant, wireless internet, canoe, kayak, bicycle, snorkeling gear, golf cart for rental, tours, inshore and offshore fishing, fishing and sailing charters, Maya Air and Tropic Air agents and much more. The Singing Sands offers two bars, Chez Albert at the end of our 200 ft pier, and the open air, Palapa roofed Bonefish Grille, conveniently located next to our swimming pool. Chez Albert is open till 11:30 PM. The Bonefish Grille is open from 7:30 AM to 9:30pm. These well stocked bars feature our Mojito and the local Belikin beer. Light fare is offered throughout the day. You can also sit back and relax with a choice from our Martini menu and a selection of premium cigars. We facilitate all excursions including birding, fishing, sailing, windsurfing & water sports, as well as snorkeling and scuba around the many cayes, caving, tours of archaeological sites and Mayan ruins, splendid rain forest treks, hiking the exclusive jaguar reserve, in addition to wondrous jungle expeditions. All trips are available from this area. Delicious cuisine is served in the open, artfully thatched roof restaurant. It too has been completely remodeled with new hardwood flooring and locally made comfortable rattan furniture. Here you can relax and behold the picturesque sea as you enjoy flavorful cuisine from our exciting new menu, a fusion of local, French & Asian influences. We offer lots of local fresh seafood, meats, and fruit, as well as fresh produce and herbs from our own organic garden. We are happy to accommodate any dietary request or preference...including vegetarian meals. The cooler is always stocked with ice cold Belikin beer...a variety of wines...soft drinks and bottled water. Our own Singing Sands specialty drinks are also available. Come relax and enjoy!
