The hotel is located in the centre of Encamp village in a quiet location, only 800 meters from the Funicamp funitel cable car and 4 kms from the main shopping areas downtown. The Funicamp funitel cable car is 800m from the hotel and climbs up to the Grandvalira ski station, the Pyrenees' largest ski area with 197 kms of pistes. There is a free char-à-banc service like a small road-going train, that will pick you up from the main street close to the hotel and take you to and from the Funicamp. 50m from the hotel there is the Encamp sports centre: 2 splendid indoor swimming-pools, sauna, squash, tennis and a gymnasium. The hotel can inform you about any activities you may wish to partake in. The Palau de Gel ice rink is situated in Canillo (4 km from Encamp). Hotel Univers is located in Encamp. Coming from France, you must enter Encamp after the large roundabout. After a 90º left turn, with the mirrored town hall building on the left, look for the second right and a yellow sign indicating Hotel Univers, just down that lane and to the right. Coming from the Spain, you enter Encamp, over the large roundabout, and we are at the other end of the village, up a street to the left that is 200m passed the second set of traffic lights. Again, a yellow sign indicates the street.
