The Inman Park Bed and Breakfast features three lovely guest rooms: the West Room downstairs (queen-sized bed), the South Room (two twin beds) and the North Room (queen-sized bed) upstairs. All rooms have their own private bathrooms. The North Room is located at the end of the upstairs and features the ultimate amount of privacy. The room is decorated with antique furnishings and rugs, and the bathroom includes a north Georgia claw foot tub and shower, plus a pedestal sink. The South Room is a large bedroom that features two twin beds and antique furnishings, plus lots of natural light. Full private bath across the hall. Inman Park Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located only two miles from Downtown Atlanta while at the same time affording the comfort and quiet of historic Inman Park. The house is also only two blocks from a MARTA subway station and a walk from the Little Five Points shopping and restaurant district. The bed and breakfast is intown, close to Downtown. The interstates join together through the heart of Downtown Atlanta (the Downtown Connector.). Take the exit for Freedom Parkway and the Carter Center. Follow the signs to the Carter Center. Go under the covered bridge and veer to the right with signs for Exit 42. Pass the Carter Center on your left. Go to the stoplight and turn right on North Highland Avenue. Go about 1 mile until you see the warehouses, then turn left on Elizabeth Street. Go through one light and one stop sign, until you reach Euclid Avenue. Turn right on Euclid Avenue and stay on the road as it passes over Springvale Park (there will be park on both sides). Take the first left, Waverly Way; Inman Park Bed and Breakfast is at 100 Waverly Way. Follow the signs to I-75/I/85 North, the Downtown Connector. Just around the corner from the Woodruff House, the opened in August, 1889, as the service and housing facility for Atlanta's first electric street railway line, running from the heart of downtown Atlanta to Inman Park, Atlanta's new garden suburb. Inman Park was the first planned residential community developed in Atlanta by in the late 19th century. Architecturally, Inman Park is one of very few neighborhoods in Atlanta in which buildings of the late 19th century remain as a group, providing visual unity to the district. Along its streets are fine examples of 19th century High Victorian Queen Anne, late Victorian colonial and classical revival styles and early 20th century bungalow forms. This streetcar suburb shows the influence of Frederick Law Olmsted, America;s foremost landscape architect.
