Site Description The Maresol apartment complex is located at the end of white sand Dover Beach. The 7 buildings housing the apartments are surrounded by a tropical garden, elevated about 3 feet above sea level and protected by a low seawall. Imagine sitting on your private seafront terrace or balcony and enjoying a view which spans nearly 180 degrees and encompasses the cresent shaped beach and the Caribbean Sea to the west, south and southeast Many of our guests are so enchanted by the Maresol site that they return again and again to Barbados to relax in the warm evening breeze and watch the spectacular sunsets. Apartments E,F,G,H,M,R, and S are sea-front apartments. Apartments G and M are single-family dwellings. Apartments E and F are an upstairs/downstairs two-family duplex. Apartment H occupies the entire lower story of the largest building on the property. Apartments R and S are above H. Apartments A,B,C, and D have a view of the sea. Apartments A and B are an upstairs/downstairs two-family duplex. Apartments C and D are an upstairs/downstairs two-family duplex and are slightly closer to the sea than A/B. Apartments N and P have a view of the garden and are located in a four-family building. The following table provides details of the apartments. Maresol is at the southern tip of Barbados, on the Caribbean side, where the beach is white sand with little ocean surf. Flight time is about four hours from New York and three hours from Miami. Here's how to get to Maresol once you arrive at the Barbados Airport: When you clear customs and collect your luggage, proceed outside the airport and to the right to find the taxi dispatcher at the street. He/she will assign a taxi to you once you indicate your destination. Tell the driver you wish to go to Maresol Beach Apartments in St. Lawrence Gap. It should cost about B$ 35.00 which equals US 17.50. The currency exchange is approximately $2 Bajan to $1 U.S.

Maresol Rental Rates Per Week exclusive of 7.5 % Value Added Tax. Daily Rate - Upon request. Generally a 3 night minimum is required. However, under certain conditions, units will be rented on a daily basis. A deposit of 3 days for stays of one week plus one additional day for each additional week is required to confirm your reservation. A credit card authorization will be processed prior to confirmation. VISA or MASTERCARD are accepted. Debit cards bearing the CIRRUS or PLUS logo are also accepted. A credit card imprint is required upon check-in. Full refund (less costs of bank transfers and currency exchange) if canceled 60 or more days before arrival. No refund if canceled less than 60 days before arrival. Unlike many hotels and apartments in Barbados, Maresol does not impose a mandatory service charge (10%) on our rates. As satisfied guests, we hope that you will tip our staff, but we leave that to your discretion.
