American Airlines/American Eagle connects directly from San Juan-Puerto Rico to Anguilla with direct flights services from most major United States Cities. Seven miles away St. Maarten's Julianna International Airport is serviced by direct flights from New York, Chicago, Miami, Raleigh/Durham, Paris, and Frankfurt. After clearing Customs and collecting your luggage you can then take a taxi which is available to the Ferry Terminal on the French Side of St. Maarten. The Ferry Boats departs approximately ever half an hour to and from the islands. What are the Ferry Boat requirements? At the Ferry Ternimal you are required to purchase Departure Tax of US$3 per person, register on the Manifest and await the next Ferry. On Board the Ferry the boat fee will be collected which is $12 per person children 2-12 years US$8.
