The Ferryboat Inn and Restaurant. The Ferryboat Inn is a small, family owned and operated inn on the beach with a restaurant on the property. We offer moderately priced self-catering (full kitchen) accommodations for a family vacation, a quiet Caribbean getaway, or the travelling business person. The Ferryboat Inn is a short distance from the ferry terminal at Blowing Point Harbour. Activities while visiting Anguilla. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling just steps away from your front door or simply relax on one of our chaise lounges on the beach or on the privacy of your patio. The Ferryboat Inn is ideally situated for exploring the quiet charm of Anguilla or for taking the 20 minute ferry ride to bustling, duty-free French St. Martin or the Dutch Sint Maarten. Our apartments are nicely furnished, with well-equipped kitchens, cable television, telephone, and air-conditioned bedrooms. Patios have tables and chairs from which you can watch the ferries by day and the twinkling of lights from St. Martin by night. Spacious accommodation allows you to settle in and make this home. Children are welcome. We have many books and table-games that we are happy to share with you. The owners live on the property and are more than happy to provide information about Anguilla, and to make suggestions for beach visits, shopping, dinning and other activities. The Ferryboat Inn Restaurant and Bar. Cul de Sac Road, Blowing Point. Our beach front restaurant is open 6 days a week for lunch and dinner offering ample selections from a widely varied menu. We have a small bar in with the restaurant. You are invited to drop in and share your Anguilla adventures with us and our other guests. As well, you can meet and visit with some of the friendly Anguillian locals and expats that drop in to see us from time-to-time. For many years before his passing in 2004, Chef John McClean crafted a robust menu featuring English, European, West Indian, and fresh seafood dishes. Chef John may be gone, but his vision lives on. His kitchen staff is still with us, and the menu still bears his imprint. According to many visitors, the best hamburgers and rum punches on the island are to be found here. We accept American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. Our bar is small, cozy, and warm. Christian McClean plays your friendly bartender. Christian, who was born and raised at The Ferryboat Inn, now oversees the running of the restaurant and bar. Marjorie McClean, your proprietress, usually visits the restaurant in the evenings to see how her guests are enjoying Anguilla, and to make introductions between the guests and the locals. Tuesday - Saturday (Lunch). Tuesday - Sunday (Dinner). During the off season, reservations are preferred. Closed all day Mondays. Wings Night has rapidly become a fun evening with hot, medium or mild Buffalo Wings served with Chunky Blue Cheese dipping sauce from 6.30 to 9.30 p.m. A limited menu (burgers, soups, salads) is offered from 7.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. We are unable to take reservations for Wings Night; it is strictly a first-come, first-served evening. The bar runs until there is no one left to serve.

Apartments Four of our apartments have one bedroom, a kitchen, living room, and two baths. The living room sofa converts to double bed. Both the living room and the bedroom open directly onto the patio. These apartments are set back in the grounds, but still enjoy a wonderful view. They are spacious with 1200 sq. feet each. Two other apartments, very privately located, are 800 sq. feet and enjoy the wonderful view of the sea with St. Martin in the background. All units are well furnished and fully equipped for self catering. Maid service is provided - mornings only - every day except Sunday. Telephone and Cable television included. Air conditioned bedrooms. Roll away beds and baby cribs must be requested at time of booking. Babysitting can be arranged with 24 hours notice. Activities While Staying at Ferryboat Inn. There are so many wonderful things to do in our peaceful, relaxed Anguilla. Quite a few of them involve the beach - you can go swimming, sailing, scuba diving, kite surfing, fishing and horse-back riding. Visit our local art galleries, museums, or go on a historical tour. Collect our various stamps, or seashells. Enjoy our special pond environments including a wide variety of birds. Experience water sports, kite surfing, surfing, scuba diving, boating... and so much more... Learn to kite surf with Tropical Paradise. Colville Petty OBE, is an authority on Anguilla's history. He has written books on Anguilla's history and has a very fine collection of historical artifacts. Some of these are from ancient settlements of the Arawak Indians.
