Legal Requirements for Marriage in Grenada: Must reside in Grenada for a minimum of three days prior to the marriage. Application for a marriage license is made at the Prime Minister's office after payment of stamp duty and license fees. This process takes approximately two days. If either party is divorced it may take slightly longer. Documents Required for Marriage in Grenada: Valid passports Birth Certificates Proof of single status: a notarized affidavit or letter from a lawyer stating that both parties are single Divorce papers or death certificate of prior spouse if applicable Minimum age for marriage is 18 years old.
