Grandview's dining room is one of the finest. You will enjoy a panoramic view of Priest Lake as you enjoy a succulent meal. Our menu includes: steaks, lobster, seafood, and chicken entrees, as well as hamburgers and a children's menu. Friday nights you can enjoy our Babyback Ribs with our own huckleberry barbecue sauce, and on Saturday nights try our outstanding Prime Rib dinner. Quench your thirst with one of our huckleberry daiquiris or;pint-a-coladas.; Our lounge also serves espresso made just the way you order! The Lounge is open daily during the summer months at 10 a.m., although coffee and espresso are available from 7:30 a.m. Check out our Happy Hour Specials from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday! Starting Memorial Weekend the pool is heated and ready to enjoy. It is heated for the summer season. Great care is taken to keep it clean and refreshing for our guests. The Spokane International Airport is the nearest major airport to Priest Lake, Idaho. It is approximately 100 miles from Grandview Resort. From Spokane, Washington (about 2 hours): Using the Northside: From the airport follow I-90 into Spokane and exit at Division St. Proceed north until Division St. turns into Highway 2, which is also called the Newport Hwy. (stay in the right hand lane when going down the Division street hill). You will follow Highway 2 through Newport, Washington and into Priest River, Idaho. The stop light (the only one in town), in Priest River is the junction of Highway 2 and Highway 57. Turn left onto Highway 57 and continue approximately 37 miles to Nordman and Reeder Bay Rd. Turn right and continue 3 1/2 miles to Grandview's Driveway. Welcome to Grandview Resort! Go East on Trent heading toward Rathdrum. It will turn into Hwy. 41. When you get to Newport turn right on Hwy. 2, follow it to the only street light in Priest River. Turn left on Hwy. 57 at that light and continue approximately 37 miles to Nordman and the Reeder Bay Rd. Turn right and continue 3 1/2 miles to Grandview's Driveway. Welcome to Grandview Resort! From Sandpoint, Idaho (about 1 1/2 hours): Go west on Hwy. 2 out of Sandpoint toward Priest River. When you get to the stop light in Priest River turn right on Hwy. 57 and continue approximately 37 miles to Nordman and the Reeder Bay Rd. Turn right and continue 3 1/2 miles to Grandview's Driveway. Mackinaw Fishing is a Favorite Pastime for the Fisherman at Heart. Go out fishing in your boat, one of our rental boats or contact one of the excellent fishing guide services available at Priest Lake. Hiking Trails and Mountain Bike Trails. The USFS keeps miles of well maintained mountain bike and hiking trails. The Lakeshore Trail begins just a few minutes from Grandview Resort and goes all the way to the Upper Priest Lake. There are many View Points along the way with wild flowers and, if you are there at the right time of year, you will be able to pick some huckleberries along the way! Just 17 miles from Grandview Resort there is a unique grove of cedars called the Roosevelt Grove of Ancient Cedars and Granite Falls, named for President Theodore Roosevelt. He established our country's national park system. This beautiful grove is officially designated a scenic area. These cedar trees have been standing for 800 to 2,000 years! The lower falls come cascading over a sheer rock wall with a thunderous roar. Take the one mile loop trail that takes you up the hillside in a series of switchbacks to viewpoints of both the upper and lower falls. Notice the plants and wildflowers that are native to North Idaho. There are many well-kept trails in the area. When you arrive, just ask for a free trail map! Unbelievable Snowmobiling. Grandview has open suites and cottages during the Winter months. Bring your own snowmobile or rent from one of several shops that deliver right to our door. There are hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails or hop off the trail and head over the mountain top!
