This project was created by a group of Cuban professionals who live in Cuba and abroad, to support Cuban families in need. The priority of this project is to rise funds to supply milk on a weekly basis to those Cubans who cannot pay 5.20 Dollars for a kilogram of powdered milk. In Cuba, milk is rationed, and only families with children up to age 7 may obtain a liter per day at local Peso prices. Everyone else has to pay in Dollars, but not everybody has access to Dollars. We put all our energies in this project and a group of friends support us with no paid staff and no office overhead, thus freeing all donations for use in the purchase of MILK, with no government interaction. This makes sure your donation reaches real families right away. We have new families joining us daily, so we really need everyone's help to continue the success of this program so all families may benefit from this special support and care.
