Askot BB is a small guesthouse located in a quiet neighborhood close to the centre of Reykjavik. From Askot there is only 5-10 minutes walk to downtown Reykjavik, the main shopping street (Laugavegur), the Parliament, the National Gallery or the National Museum. A comfortable geothermally heated outdoor swimming pool is within a walking distance. Click on Location to see further information on where we are located. Our cottage is located at Arnarstapi on the Snafellsnes peninsula which is sometimes described as a perfect sample of Iceland. It takes about 2 and a half hour to drive to Arnarstapi. The cottage has two bedrooms with double beds, kitchen, bathroom and a living room on the ground floor. Upstairs is a room where at least 4 persons can sleep on mattresses. The glacier Snafellssjokull is 1550 meters (4800 feet) high and can be climbed (. ) from the cottage. Tours to the top are offerd by from Arnarstapi..
