I have therefore seen a fair part of this old world, including virtually every country in Europe, including Greece by the way.brAlthough my wife and I visited Greek islands before, we never visited Samos. We stayed there from 29th June till 6th July, only a week therefore and I can only say that it was quite different from what I expected. The island is lush and green, beautiful, quite full of historical buildings and sites, with surprising and breathtaking views, small secluded beaches, etc., etc. The climat is warm, but with a bit of wind comfortable and pleasant. In short: an ideal holiday destination for island lovers. Nevertheless I found the island surprisingly quiet, relatively clean, unspoiled and inexpensive. The people are generally very friendly, polite and warm. all together, its just too good to be true Please, let us keep this secret to ourselves, before it is turned into another Ibiza or Gran Canaria.
