JOIN-TOUR We can arrange the below packages for your enjoyment *** Prior arrangements preferred *** as required by most touring companies We are not a tour company, however we can be the go between and arrange the tour of your choice. TRIP 1: WIANG KUM KAM. Wiang Kum Kam was a settlement long before it became King Mangrals capital around 1287-90, frequent flooding caused Mangrai to move but the place remained important throughout the Lanna period. This site was later buried under mud when the river changed course during the Burmese period. The area was restored as a historical park during the 1980s and more renovations and reconstructions have recently been undertaken. TRIP 2: BAN TAWAI - ART AND HANDICRAFT. TRIP 3: LAMPHUN WAT PHRATHAT HARIPHUNCHAI / WAT CHAMADEVI. (Popularly called Wat Kukut) which is said to have been erected in the 8th or 9th century as a Dvaravati Monument, then rebuilt by the Hariphunchai mon in 1218. As it has been restored many times since then it is now a mixture of several schools. The stepped profile bears a remarkable resemblance to the 12th century / Sankampeng. TRIP 4: BUNGY JUMP/ORCHID FARM/MONKEY SHOW. TRIP 5: HILLTRIBE MUSEUM / PANDA / WAT JED YOD. Was built to host the eight world Buddhist Council in 1477. Based on the design of the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya India the proportions for the Chiangmai version are quite different from the Indian original, so it was probably modeled from a small active tablet depicting the Mahabodhi in distorted perspective. The seven spires (Jed Yod) represents the seven weeks Buddha was supposed to have spent in Bodhagaya after his enlightenment. The main stupa erected in 1487 contains the ashes of the Lanna King Phaya Tilok. TRIP 6: LAMPANG: ELEPHANT CONSERVATION CENTRE WAT PHRA TAT LAMPANG LUANG. TRIP 7: ELEPHANT RIDING SHOW / SANKAMPEANG. TRIP 8: SANKAMPEANG HOT SPRING / HOT BATHS / MINERAL SWIMMING POOL. TRIP 9: DOI SUTHEP / MEO VILLAGE / PHUPING PALACE. When you arrive at the temple complex you can walk up Suthep mountain 3520 feet above sea level. Phratat Doi Suthep is a large golden pagoda, in the center of the temple containing a part of the holy relic of the Lord Buddha. This temple was built by King Gue Na in 1383 AD. Next the tour also takes in Meo Hilltribe Village. Visit a quaint and picturesque setting, set in an attractive hillside spot and see the costumes. At Meo Hilltribe village you can buy Hmong handicrafts here. TRIP 10: SANKAMPEANG OR HANDICRAFT. Which flourishes on cotton and silk weaving stores offering finished products lined the main street, although the actual weaving is done in small factories down side streets but you can visit the famous handicraft village and factories at Borsang and Sankampeang Districts. Visit the local silk, Lacque Ware Jewelry, Silverware, Woodcarving, Pottery, Carpet Internation, Bronze and Umbrella Factory. TRIP 11: DOI SUTHEP / THE ZOO. TRIP 12: BOTANIC GARDEN / ELEPHANT SHOW RIDING / ORCHID. TRIP 13: SAFARI TOUR. Visit Elephant Show, Riding on elephants, Bamboo rafting and Riding on Ox carts. This program we include every ticket a buffet lunch already. TRIP 14: CHIANGRAI ONE DAY. Full day excursions to Chiangrai with Air-conditioned van. Chiangrai is situated on the highest point of Thailand. On the way to Chiangrai well visit at Chiang Dao Cave, next go to Thaton, then move to Mae-Ai Longnect, Mae-Sai which is the northest: town and further to Tai-Myanmar border line, Golden Triangle and Chiang Sean the old capital of Lanne Kingdom. TRIP 15: DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK. Thailands highest peak (2595 M) often called Doi In when you reach there you will visit Mae Kiang Waterfall and Wachiratharn Waterfall, Royal Project then you will visit 2 chedi. One chedi is Phra Mahatat Naphamethnidon Chedi built by the royal Thai air force to commemorate the Kings 60th birthday in 1989. At the summit of Doi Inthanon stands a large shrine built to commemorate the seventh King of Chiangmai. Chao in Thanon (1870-97). TRIP 16: CITY TEMPLE / SANKAMPEANG. This program visits at Wat Chiangman (AD1297) the oldest temple in Chiangmai, Wat ChediLuang (AD1410) Where the Emerald Buddha Image once entered. Despite the stupa being reduced in height by an earthquake in 1545, Wat Phra Sing (AD1345) where 1500 year old Buddha image and file carvings are to be found. Wat Suan Dok (AD1371) where the ashes of Chiangmais royal family are intered. Proceeds to Wat Jed Yod with its seven spires and unusual architecture commemorating the year 2000 of the Buddhist era. Frequently Asked Questions.; How far is Romyen Garden from Chiang Mai, from the airport? Romyen Garden is 9 -km away from the city center and just 12-km from the airport. It takes 15 minutes to drive to Chiang Mai. You can get there by tuk-tuk or by taxi.; Can you come and pick me up when I get there? If you wish, we will come and pick you up at the airport or at the Chiang Mai bus station. We charge 350 THB per pick-up (not per person).; How many bungalows do you have? We only have five bungalows.; How many people can stay in your bungalows? Our one bedroom bungalow sleeps two people max, Our Two bedroom bungalows sleeps four people (2 ppl per room) Our Three bedroom bungalow sleeps six people upstairs and four people downstairs in the large sleeper-lounge. All bungalows are big enough to put extra beds if necessary, but there would be an extra charge per bed.; Do you have air cond or TV in your bungalows ? We have air cond and fans but we don have TV, but we do have a common area with a TV and cable so you can enjoy the company of other guests.; What extra services are available at Romyen Garden Resort? We organize private Thai cooking classes in the restaurant. We provide traditional massage in your bungalow.. If needed, we will take care of your laundry. Yes we do, we aren't a trekking company however we can be the go-between setting up your needs and arranging for you to Join a tour with an existing licenced tour company.; Do you have internet ? We do have packages that include bed and breakfast, but the package must you must request a BB package when you reserve your bungalow or room.; How can I secure my booking? Having only five bungalows gives us little flexibility and we can only operate on first come, first served basis. To secure your booking, you will need to pay for your room in advance.; Do you make discounts or special rates for groups or long term stay? Yes to both questions, special rates change so you would have to discuss this with the reservation desk at the time of booking and as for long term stay, If you pay for 7 days the 8th day is free (this does not include breakfast).; Do you accept credit card? Yes, we take Visa and Mastercard, but only at the front desk for the balance of your payment. We currently DO NOT accept credit cards over the phone or internet.; What can I see in Chiang Mai province ? National parks, waterfalls, elephant camps, hot springs, temples, palaces, botanical gardens, hilltribes villages.; Whats the weather like over there? We have three seasons, Wet, Hot and Hotter. For approximately 3 months it rains. Even when it rains it is hot here. During the cooler season, the mornings and evenings are cool but the days are still hot. Then the cool nights and mornings disappear.

Trip A Rock Climbing. At: Crazy Horse, Sangkampang. Type: 1 Day Trip Start: 8.30 AM Finished: 6:00 PM. There is lots of great rock Climbing very close to Chang Mai. The nearest one is located in the Sankampang area about 45 km from town. In this area there are about 120 climbing routes. There are routes that makes the absolute beginner feel like a pro and routes that makes the pro feel like a beginner. The price for this trip includes: Transportation, Guide, Lunch, Water, Equipment, Insurance. Type: 2 Days 1 Night Trip Start: 8.30 AM Finished: 8.00 PM. This is a wonderful trip for all of you who want to escape from the city. By the river its peaceful, no lights or noisy cars. Just you and your friends floating along the river. For this trip you dont need any experience with Rock Climbing. We will teach you the basics during the trip. There are easy and fun routes for beginners as well as harder demanding routes for the more experienced. The first day we pick you up at your hotel at 8.30 AM. The day starts with going to the lovely Elephant Camp on the way to the Lampang Province. Here we will stop to see the Elephant show and then head on to the Tung Kuen Market to pick up food for the days to come. After about an hour drive through the Lampang Province we arrive at the Kewlom Dam. After packing the boats we head off up the river heading for the Pakieng Cliff. Here we spend the rest of the day just relaxing and playing in the water. When the sun starts to set we head the boat towards the night camp. Here we set up tents and enjoy a great outdoor dinner around the campfire. We wake up to the sound of nature and have breakfast together. Adventure waits, so we pack up our tents and head back to the Pakieng Cliff. We stay on the boat just enjoying the day until about 4 in the afternoon when its time to start to turn the boat around and head towards Chiang Mai again. Type 3 : The wonderful 3 days 2 nights. At: Kewlom Dam, Lampang Province Type: 3 Days 2 Night Trip Start: 8.30 AM Finished: 8.00 PM. This is a wonderful trip for all of you who want to escape from the city. By the river its peaceful, no lights or noisy cars. Just you and your friends floating along the river. During the days we have fun together, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Fishing, Swimming or just working on that tan. For this trip you dont need any experience with Rock Climbing. We will teach you the basics during the trip. There are easy and fun routes for beginners as well as harder demanding routes for the more experienced. We wake up to the sound of nature and have breakfast together. Adventure waits, so we pack up our tents and head back to the Pakieng Cliff. Then the day is all yours. You can choose to learn more about climbing from our experienced guides go fishing or just finish that great book in the shadow. When the sun starts to set we turn the boats back to the camp where we all have dinner together and enjoy the rest of the evening. After having breakfast by the river we head back to the cliff again. Here you can choose to do some more climbing with our guides, finish of that great book or just relax by the water. Our experienced guides will be with you at all times and take good care of you what ever you chose to do. At around 4.PM we slowly start moving up the river towards Chiang Mai. We will be back in Chiang Mai at around 8.00 PM. At:Doi Suthep Temple Type: 1 Day Trip Start: 8.30 AM Finished 6.00 PM. This is a soft adventure program. We will go offroad using 4x4 WD Cars to the back of the Doi Suthep Mountain. Here we will go on muddy roads before we reach the Hmong hilltribe village.
