In addition to the extreme reputation, some of the red runs and the Alberto Tomba black run offers advanced skiers plenty of less extreme challenges in the main ski area. There is an excellent choice of blue and red runs, for budding intermediate skiers, all joined by a network of mostly chair and some draglifts. There are plenty of restaurants on the slopes where you can have a break and relax before hitting the pistes again. The wide pistes and tree-lined runs, offer multiple opportunities for on and off-piste activities. For the more confident snowboarders there are great extreme off-piste opportunities and of course the board park, consiting of fun park, half pipe and the popular snow towers unique to Bansko. Ski season 2007/2008 open December. We already accept your reservation  for a new ski season. Pirin is the country's second highest mountain with typical alpine profile and great slopes ideal for skiing in the winter. Forty peaks rise at a height of more than 2600m. The highest peak Vihren rises at 2915m. The skiing conditions in Bansko are excellent. The Pirin mountain has a predonantly Alpine charachter with three peaks towering above 2900 m. However the slopes offer runs and tracks for all types of skiers, from novice to the experts, while the ski runs are maintained in excellent condition. Snow falls are abudant, providing a constant winter snow cover up to 2 m thick. The skiing season along the Pirin slopes starts in the middle of December and ends in mid-April. The Kulinoto ski race is located at three kilometers from our hotel. It is 1500 meters in length alpine style and is very suitable for ski beginners. The ski race does not have lots of equipment but its much cheaper to use it. The conditions for children are sufficient.
