We are situated just above the shores of Lake Grazalema which is popular for fishing, kayaking and canoeing and swimming in the turquoise waters. Wildlife watching is fantastic; ibex, eagles, griffon vultures and many species of migratory birds. In the spring the abundance of wild flowers (including several indigenous orchids) make walking a delight. Futhermore, you could not choose a more central location to enjoy sightseeing in the great Andalucian cities of Jerez, Cadiz, Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Also, not too far away, are the coastal resorts of the Costa del Sol and the unspoilt Costa de la Luz. Ook kunnen wij een gerenoveerd huis en een studio aanbieden voor diegenen, die zelf de maaltijden willen klaarmaken. El Gastor is de perfecte locatie om als basis te gebruiken. Van hieruit kunt U genieten van het Grazalema Natuurpark, de Sierra de Ronda en de Sierra de las Nieves. Er zijn volop activiteiten te doen zoals paardrijden, mountingbiking, wandelen, rotsen beklimmen, kanoen en paragliding (de wereldkampioenschappen hiervan namen plaats 3 jaar geleden in het nabijgelegen Algodonales). Wij zitten net boven het meer van Grazalema, populair om te vissen, te kajakken, te kanoen en te zwemmen in het turquase water. Slechts bereiken een 40 minieme rit en u de nieuwe kampioenschap golfcursus aan Arcos Tuinen, Arcos de la Frontera en een klein dat verder is op de Motorfiets Voorname Prix kringloop aan Jerez. Dieren in het wild bekijken is fantastisch; steenbokken,adelaars, gieren en vele andere vogelsoorten. In het voorjaar zie je prachtige wilde bloemen (inclusief enkele inheemse orchideen). U kunt zich geen centralere locatie bedenken om te genieten van enkele beroemde steden van Andalusie zoals Jerez, Sevilla, Granada en Cordoba. Het is ook dichtbij de bekende Costa del Sol en het onbeschadigde Costa de la Luz.
