The reservation will be booked when the deposit is received on the bank account. If the reservation is cancelled 15 days before the date of the first day of the stay, the MI Lodge will pay back 50% of the deposit to the guests. If the reservation is cancelled between 14 and 3 days before the date of the first day of the stay, the MI Lodge will pay back 25% of the deposit. If the reservation is cancelled with less than 2 days before the date of the first day of the stay, the MI Lodge will keep 100% of the deposit. Ski resort : Las Termas de Chillan. 5 miles and 15 minutes from the MI Lodge, you can ski and ride some of the best slopes in South America. Las tres marias is the longest groomed run in Chile -8miles! With 30 trails, the resort is one of the largest in Chile, and the only one to offer good tree riding. Even in summer we are able to suggest some different excursions for you with a specialized guide. You will visit incredible places that you cannot see anywhere else, enjoy beautiful landscapes and at the same time discover the wonderful fauna and flora of the region. We suggest you six different excursions: The Winery Tour : Itata valley. In the Nuble area in the south of Chillan, you will find the Valley of Itata the best known region for wine... in Chile. Due to a humid Mediterranean weather, fertile soil and a well sunny exposition, tasty fruits are cultivated in the valley. That vineyard area appeared during the colonialism period when the Jesuits planted the first vines they had brought from Spain. The White wine's harvests take place from the end of February to mid March. Red wine is cultivated from March to the end of April. If you choose this tour you will enjoy visiting different wineries and bodegas : Vina Tierra de Arrau. The Winery Tour : Quillon. This tour is an interesting one that people enjoy doing. You will visit both vineyards and bodegas. This circuit is composed of three stops: First stop: 'Villa San Francisco'. You will visit beautiful rosaries and taste natural fruit juice. Second stop: 'Vina Barrisol'. The Barriga-Villalobos family will greet you in their bodega, offer you delicious old wines, red wines, white wines and liquor. They will also show you the making process of wine. Third step: 'Vina Lomas'. Its owner will guide you through the vineyards and bodegas of the domain. After the visit, take a break to enjoy a degustation in the special room of the well-known Don Ginito. You for sure will appreciate the charm of this city and its historical patrimony. For years, many artists such as the virtuous pianist Claudio Arrau, the well-known sculpter Marta Colvin and also Arturo Pacheco Altamirano y Baltazar Hernandez famous for their aquarelles and oil painting lived in Chillan. On the 'Plaza de las Armas', you could not miss the monument dedicated to Don Bernardo O'Higgins one of the liberator of Chile. Do not miss: 'Chillan viejo' the old part of town rich in history. 'La Cathedrale de Chillan' built by the architect Hernan Larrain Errazuriz. El Convento de los Padres Carmelitas : built between 1910 and 1913. If you like ceramic designs make a stop in Quichamali where you will find the most beautiful pieces of the Bio Bio region. Take advantage of spending vacation in Las Trancas to enjoy the different thermal centers located around our lodge. Gran Hotel : This thermal center is one of the most prestigious of the region of Bio Bio. It has a large thermal water swimming pool both indoor and outdoor. Price: 12 000 pesos. The Coles mine in Lota is the sole mine in the world ventilated naturally, opened to the public and located under the sea level. Former miners will guide you along the mine to make you feel the atmosphere of Lota.
